How so? 2007 title game, Giant D holds GB to 20 pts in 5 qtrs., D gets TO to set up GW FG 2011 title game, O scores 10 pts in last 3 qtrs. BOTH scores set up by STs turnovers including GW FG in OT. 2 title games, both GW FGs set up by D and STs- did we do that? In the SBs the D also held a GREAT NE O to just 14 and 17 pts. Eli played really well as did Sanchez but Eli's D/STs played better and that's why he has 2 SB titles and we have 2 title game losses.

Sanchez would have thrown that bad boy right to Rodney Harrison.. Giants lose. 2011 Title Game - Eli Manning 30 for 40 296 yards One TD 0 INT. When the hell has Sanchez gone 30 for 40? So many other factors go into this it's not even funny.. Chances are Sanchez would not be able to repeat what Eli did with the Giants.. I am sure if you roll the dice enough times, eventually you will roll a 7.
That was the SB not the title game and he threw that ball up for grabs and got lucky the ball stuck to a helmet. 2011 title game, got bailed out by bad non fumble call on Bradshaw and TWICE threw balls up for grabs that were so poorly thrown that 2 SF DBs collided to knock it away each time. Perceptions are funny, giant fans treated Eli like we treat Sanchez until they won that SB and b/c Eli has 2 SB MVP awards that he didn't deserve we forget his struggles and what he actually did in those postseasons. he was very good as was Sanchez but the difference was his D/STs stepped up while ours did not.
Sorry when I said Title Game I meant Super Bowl.. You can't just plug in another player and expect the same results. It just wouldn't happen like that. I don't think Sanchez has what it takes to win a Super Bowl let alone another playoff game. Eli got better year after year.. Sanchez has done nothing but regress.. That is the difference.
Eli hasn't gotten better year after year, he ahs his best statistical season in 2008 then regressed the next 2 years throwing 25 INTs in 2010, he had a goo 2011 then regressed last year. Eli is w/o a doubt better than mark right now but he's also been surrounded w/ MUCH better talent and the difference btw our 2 title game losses and their 2 SB wins was not the QB, it was the D/STs.
I wish Sanchez would regress into a 3,948 yard 26 TD 15 INT 87.2 Passer rating kind of year. Sanchez will never be half the cleat of Eli's.. I am sorry.. This is the truth.
If you really want this team to have a shot at winning anything this year, just give Geno a chance and see what happens junc... Can't hurt can it?
So the reason why the Giants won was mostly because of their defense. Yet you junc will argue anybody down that says the defense is mostly responsible for the Jets success in 2009 and 2010. What double standard.
Sanchez was better in 2010 and he's never been shut out(at home no less) in postseason. If he had the same weapons he'd put up much better #s too. Think about this, eli has had SB talent the last 4 years yet made the playoffs ONCE at 9-7 in a weak division. Actually if you read my posts you'd know I have said a million times we were a D first team and that unit was most responsible for our success.
That dance party/Napa Valley Dead spin article did rub me the wrong way. Nothing wrong with doing what you want in the offseason, but I sit back and think: "Should I keep defending this guy?" The answer might be NO.

17 going on 40. I looked up a couple of her other pics and her face will probably look like a catcher's mitt in five years with all of that sun damage. I guess a set of fake balloons takes care of everything. Definitely a giant spiral staircase worth of steps down from Upton.
