this is a discussion board, the best discussions take place when we share our opinions and back them up. You just whining about Mark w/ nothing to back it up doesn't help us.

around around we go ... It's going to be very disheartening when the majority of the fans see #6 out there against the Bucs opening day...

So what? Those playoff wins doesn't change the fact that he sucks.

yep, he sucks. It's so easy to win road playoff games w/ any QB as those #s indicate, we had the '85 bears around the QB as we know but our QB held us back. :rofl2:

Other than Folk missing a chip shot at NE I dont recall any STs fuck-ups in those games. I remember a huge kick return setting up the game-winning drive at Indy.

Because the better teams get home playoff games and the rest are dogshit. But mainly because Rex Ryan is a brilliant coach imo.

Agreed, but when the O is the Achilles' heel and you are searching for ways to improve you start from the top. Sanchez is the only constant in our constantly bad offense.

    50+ turnovers in 2 years

Never completed 60% of his passes in a season (even with the much sought after weapons you fanboys scream for)

Ranked among the worst starting QBs

Doesn't see the field well, stares down receivers

Has very poor anticipation and little to no pocket awareness

    Pump fakes wide open receivers...

Crumbles the second there's a hint of pressure

    ____________

You want to analyze and cherry pick stats? Be my guest. I, on the other hand, have actually watched him "play the QB position". Try it sometime.

Who said anything about it being "easy to win road playoff games"? Sanchez is a bad QB. If he's as good as you think why no other team wanted to trade for him when he was being dangled by the Jets? Shouldn't those awesome road playoff wins be enough for a team to take a chance on Sanchez? Didn't Idzik throw Sanchez in the Tampa Bay deal and the Bucs turned it down? Especially considering how unsure they are about Freeman? He just so happen to be the QB of those teams.

one could easily surmise that good teams with good qbs dont have to play 2 road playoff games every year and that the jets although they were a good team in 09 and 10 they didnt win the division because of the erratic quarterback play. you know throwing interceptions all over the place. therefore HE was a large portion of WHY they had to win 3 road playoff games. sadly they only won 2 each of those years and DIDNT make it to the superbowl.

its not about who does the most research and can argue the best. this is football, common sense comes in to play at some point. you just want to be a master arguer and i give you that, you argue with the best of them.

^Agreed. Sanchez is why those games were road games and not home games. Those teams were fucking loaded with talent.

Those franchises haven't always been great and they have played a bunch of road games.

yep, if not for him we would have won 15 games and passed NE in 2010!:rofl2:

2009 you could say that, for sure, but he was a rookie quarterback with little college experience. What did you expect?

2010 the Jets were not playing road games because of Sanchez. He was good. The Patriots were just better and the ENTIRE team was a joke in the 45-3 loss in New England. Ravens loss, Packers loss, Dolphins loss the Jets offense was a joke for sure, Bears game was not on Sanchez either. So a team goes 11-5 (Best Jets record since 1998) and people want to say they are playing road games cause of Sanchez. Terrible logic.

I expect more production and less turnovers. Look at other top 5 rookie QBs, the bar is much higher. No break given for being a rookie. He just sucks.

I forgot NE went 14-2 that yr, nevertheless we could have gone 13-3 with smarter QB play imo. The Ravens and Packer losses especially. He had some good games in 2010 that had me believing. False hope.

we also could have gone 7-8-1 if mark and the pass O didn't pull out games in Den, Det, Cle and vs. Hou.

^You really want to go there? We couldve lost dozens of games under Mark if the D didnt keep us in it.

Yeah, what games would we have lost that we won in 2010?

    NE? we scored 28 pts
    Mia? 31
    Buf? blowout
Min? game should never have been close, D let dead team back into game
Den? D gave us late deficit, O scored GW TD late
Det? O rescued us from 10 down
Cle? O won game in OT after D blew it
Hou? D blew huge 4th qtr lead
pitt? sanchez was outstanding that day
Buf? basically an exhibition game he barely played in.

I forgot NE went 14-2 that yr, so were on the road regardless. Nevertheless, a decent 2010 season isnt enough to wipe away what has happened since.

And we win the Ravens and Packers games with a smarter QB at the controls imo.

if our D didn't a million 3rd and longs and allow bal to hold the ball for 40 mins maybe we win? GB was a very windy day, neither O was good. Do you think if we met in the SB we hold that GB O down in perfect conditions? Not a chance and our O got screwed w/ 2 bogus turnovers that killed our chances.
