We were ready to cut them last week after an OTA all pro bound this week?

    good.

the best scenario we can get is one where they're both coming along fine.

Then we have two viable and capable backs to work with.

If they're at equal level that may spell trouble for Sanchez's future with us though, seeing as how its pretty redundant to have two QB's at relative levels of play when one can be cut for space.

Still pertaining to THIS year this works out great. keep it up gentleman.

Obviously it's because our defense is the worst in the league, they can't even pick off Sanchez!!

(Note: I had to do it before someone who was actually serious said it)

You're a fucking moron if you think that just from OTA's.

UPDATE: High completion numbers are being attributed to DBs practicing with their blast shields down, as per unnamed source.

He was being sarcastic after the overreaction of Sanchez ints last week.

So far Sanchez is getting 90% of the snaps with the ones. It looks like it is his Job to lose.

Simms working with the 3's look like Mcelroy might be the one cut.

Me neither. I don't mind if Sanchez starts the beginning of the season. Geno was drafted to be the future of this team. Whether that happens or not is a different story. But unless Sanchez completely 100% changes his ways, he won't be here for long.

I read Hayden Smith made two fantastic grabs (both from Sanchez). This gets me excited as he is very athletic and could be a good TE in the future. Does anyone here think he will be a force this year or still a project? Cumberland is OK but Hayden Smith has the physical tools to be a star once he gets the whole ya know.... American Football thing down. Anyone else's thoughts on him?

Yeah I keep only hearing good things about Hayden smith. With Sanchez throwing the balls does that imply he is working with the 1st team? That would be a pleasant surprise

Cumberland had a baby so he was not at OTA's. This gave Smith a chance to play with the 1st team and he shined. I think it's great news. If him and Cumberland can really play we can do more two TE packages and get the opposing defense off balance with no huddles to keep Sanchez in rhythm.

It's kinda funny that you've acknowledge Schilens as a sub-par player - for example, in this thread, you refer to him sarcastically as a "luminary" - and, yet, you use his opinion to make your point in support of Sanchez.

Crappy players' opinions don't really mean much to me. So, using Chaz fucking Schilens' quote in support of Sanchez is probably not the best way to persuade people about your boy.
