And another pathetic play by Tejada in the field - that's 2 bad fielding plays and 1 bad baserunning play in this game. His fundamentals have regressed tremendously this year. The fact that he's hitting below .220 is just a bonus.

Davis gets the mock cheer when he feebly grounds out to first rather than striking out.

Murphy double and Wright single and Rivera blows his first save of the year! Wright goes to second on a muff by the catcher.

    And Duda wins the game!!!!!!!

Horrible season but that was a big "fuck you" to the Yankees. Rivera no longer perfect, Harvey still perfect.

    I missed it, too bad

Rivera throws out the first pitch and then blows the save

Anyone think Hefner is actually going to get this win? I think the chances of him making it through 5 innings not giving up at least 5 runs are pretty remote, and I'm saying that with 2 outs in the second and the score 5-0.

    Shockingly easy inning for Hefner.

I'm a little late but yes I think Hefner gets the win!

as long as the bullpen doesn't blow the lead

I say he pitches 5+ and exits with the lead

How long has it been since the Mets scored 8 runs in a game?

Found it April 16th and they lost 9 to 8 To Col. in that game

Well, even if Hefner starts having trouble he'll get the win unless the bullpen fails him.

Tejada is such a clown. Now he hurts himself on an idiotic defensive play where all he had to do was veer off with Baxter making a catch easily.

4 wins in a row. Someone gonna have to make room for Wheeler. It looks like it will be between Gee and Hefner. Gee better pitch his ass off tomorrow if he still wants his starting job. Right now it's looking goof for Hefner. Maybe

Wow....3 days without internet and we go crazy! Nice to see Tejada being given some accountability before his injury .... have to think his play s what you get with no competition.

nice to see 3 wins against the dark side anytime but with this team it somehow tastes better
