Too bad they couldn't mix both O'Brien and Pennington into one QB. O'Brien's arm strength, and durability mixed with Pennington's smarts, play action, and guile would've been something to see.
With KOB I felt like we were never out of a game. With Chad I felt like that alot. It depends what you like, a safe game manager or a risky playmaker. Both were limited.
Thing about KOB, his offense was fun to watch. Never felt that way about Pennington. I get the smarts and the play action, but be it arm strength or coaching style, we always seemed to be trying to win 16-9. Under Kenny O, we were trying to win by blowing up the scoreboard. I like CP a lot, but I'd take KOB any day. Just way more fun to watch, offensively.

Have to disagree. Kenny O on Chads team...wins a Super Bowl. Chad on Kennys team...is put of the league in two years due to injury.
Kenny had more talented teams and couldn't even win a SB and he played in an incredibly weak era in the AFC where all the strong teams were in the NFC while Chad had a dynasty team in his division.
The OL was very underrated, I am not saying it was great but Kenny took so many sacks not b/c of the OL but b/c he held the ball too long looking for big plays. he was very Bledsoe like in that regard.
