Pretend? Hahah, you let those insecurities come out hater it's peaches to me. You calling me a homer tells me you don't even know what a homer is, I guess you're trying to be cool or whatever. I'm not supporting Sanchez as the starting QB, but if I'm Idzik I want to see him in TC and then make the decision. This June 1st shit is for homers like you that want him cut ASAP because of last season.

I think you need to ask yourself what you want in a QB because that fantasy football approach you got there is for the birds (yeah I read some of you're obnoxious, jackass, and immature responses also)

To benefit Geno Smith the most, I think he needs to learn from Garrard - where that goes I don't know.

When you draft a QB, EVERY decision you make, you need to know how it impacts the QB position from the depth chart, to the draft, to the cap and FA. Again, we haven't done this process correctly.

I'm not a fan of Geno Smith. Maybe it's the fact that he played in the Big 12, or his adaptation to a pro offense. Lets not get it twisted, I want him to prove me wrong. For our sake as a franchise.

Your ability to understand ones' intentions for the franchise needs some serious retooling

So what exactly IS your point. Let's get that out of the way so you don't try to switch it around next time. What does the receptions have to do with his piss poor accuracy?

Make your point and I will shred it so get your next excuse ready.

lol @ 72.2% isn't so far off. It is the 2nd worst in the entire league. Good QBs are able to hit short passes routinely.

And why am I here? Same reason you are. To talk football. I watch every Jets and Dolphins game every year. I watch as many other games as I can on Sunday Ticket too. If you can make good points I am all ears but so far you are doing a poor job.

    Great Comparison.
Two years later they won the SB, with Brad Johnson having a great year.

Could they have won it with Shaun King? Possibly ... But they had enough sense to know that going forward with your QB being the weakest link on the team isn't a smart way to operate. A concept that some people on here fail to embrace.

    Really, really, short punts.

Not sure you get the "both sides of the coin" thing.

Contradicting yourself is not both sides of the coin.

Actually I think of those as forward fumbles not interceptions.

At the end of 2011 Sanchez wasn't even making the motions of a successful QB.

At the end of 2012 he was making the motions of a QB who desperately wanted to be benched so he could get his career over with already. The problem is that there was nobody more prepared to take the job than he was to give it up.

I hate to say it, but Tebow probably could have won some of those games without throwing a pass.

Gawddamn we were awful at the end of last year.

That Titan game made me question my Jets fanhood.

The Thanksgiving Day game made me question my sanity.

Except I'm not contradicting anything. Sanchez supporters and haters both have valid arguments. I'm not picking a side until I see them both at TC competing. That's me understanding both sides.

The genesis of Acad's new identity has been the best thing coming out of this thread.

    I've also found great amusement in nyjunc's signs of mega-lo-mania and his cute claims of preaching gospel;

    - I HAVE NEVER SAID... oh, I seem to have forgotten ever saying that...

    - PLEASE SHOW ME WHER... ehm, that one slipped my mind...

    - AGAIN YOU SHOW US ALL YOU CANT EVEN READ... bah, ofc you point to that old comment (my overall point was still valid though)...

    - YOU ARE ALL AVERAGE FANS WHO HAVE SOMETHING PERSONAL AGAINST MY MARK!! L2SEE FOOTBALL EVERYONE.

    - (Hobbes, where are you, I need help)

His #s were very good most of the 2011 season but he wasn't half the QB he was in 2010. he was still good most of 2011 but not nearly as good as his underrated 2010 season.

King didn't end up in the championship game that year, he helped Tb get to the title game in 1999 beating a mediocre Washington team at home 14-13 to get there before leading his O to 6 pts in the title game while his truly great defense held one of the greatest O's of all time to 11 pts. In the 2 playoff games that 1999 postseason the TB D gave up a TOTAL of 16 pts, in 2 title games our D gave up an average of 24 pts.

King became the full time starter in 2000 after taking over late in 1999 so your argument is completely off.

    In 3 postseason starts:

King threw 1 TD, 3 INTs, completed less than 50% of passes, was 1-2, led O to 8 PPG.

He played w/ a LEGITIMATE great defense, a D that in those 3 postseason games allowed an average of 12 PPG. the lowest amount in any single game that our D allowed was 14 pts.

Sanchez threw 9 TDs, 3 INTs, completed over 60% of his passes, was 4-2, led O to 20 PPG while he D allowed an average of 19 PPG.

I love when guys agree w/ folks that are 100% wrong. Good job beast!

Never agree until you see my response that tears apart these weak arguments.

the comparison couldn't be more off, ignoring him being totally off on the title game year and the year after TB had a legit great D, one that was great in postseason too.

1999 title game TB vs. SL:
SL averaged 33 PPG during the reg season, TB held them to NINE.

    2009 title game:
Indy averaged 26 PPG in reg season, we allowed THIRTY
    2010 title game:
Pitt averaged 23 PPG, we allowed 17

    notice any differences?

Everything he said was pretty much common sense. There was nothing informative about that post. The only thing I got from that post is that he's a douchebag trying to assert himself in an immature manner.
