Clowe has 45 playoff points also, maybe he can wake Nash up, Brassard- Clowe-Nash was a good line before Clowe got hurt

It will make us stronger if Clowe gets a lot of Pyatt's minutes.

It will make us weaker if Clowe gets a lot of Zuccarello's minutes (which I expect he will.)

If you cant battle talent with talent you have to battle with with banging and hitting to slow them down....and Clowe is exactly what is needed right now.

You are not going to skate with this team. All the goals were plays off the boards and banging.

The only way you beat this team is to bang and be aggressive. Its the only way to slow them down..and it can be done. Totally agree MR.

Here is another stat: In the 2011 playoffs the Caps took a 2-0 lead over the Rangers, lost Game 3, then won Games 4 and 5 to win the series. Which stat do you think is more relevant?

Yep. Haha. Very true. I couldn't tell, but were Holtby's goals bad?

Is this a trick question DK? Lol...all Im saying is to have a record of 4-5 after leading 2-0 is pretty horrible no? Not saying its going to happen but if the Rangers tie the series 2-2..Im sure the media will be throwing that question to the Caps.

    Got to get there first.

The Asham one..he had no chance.

The Boyle one was bad on him.

Stepan was a great deflection so I would say no.

    Brassard was a great goal...maybe

Staal played over 17 minutes and looked slow...expected...but big to get a win and a game under his belt. Too bad he will need 4 or 5..and he might not get them..but if he does...

Yeah my son and I were arguing over the one goal Hank gave up..the deflection that just went straight down between his legs. Sorry..Hank has to stop that. A deflection left to right or down to up I get..but that puck did nothing but go down and between his legs.

The last goal he have up? Bad one. Hank is 1-2 in this series so maybe next game he is on. Also nice to win a game where he wasnt great.

Jay that's more minutes than Eminger would have played, and there's no comparison between the 2, think back to the Winter Classic, he started slow but progressed quickly

Trautwig on MSG just said that was the best 3 goal performance of Hanks career? Maybe Im being to hard...i mean he was good at times and did make some clutch saves.

    Perhaps me being spoiled.

Excellent point MR..cut into the minutes for the other d men. Eminger would never see 17 minutes. Good pick up.
