Would have loved Swope here but I agree it seems like he dropped quite a bit.

Ranked 139 and we got him at 141, hardly a wasted pick

I swear Jet fans live to whine

He's probably a RT but how can you not love this quote?

"One of the reasons why I play this game is because you get to beat up on people without getting into trouble," Aboushi told NFLDraftScout.com. "I love finishing plays, I love dominating opponents, I love making opponents give up and surrender to your will."

He did really well against Ziggy Ansah in workouts as well.

Thank you! If he can be effective at multiple OL spots, it's great to have a player like him. Would you compare his potential to a guy like Robert Turner, who backed-up multiple positions for us years ago?

Nothing wrong with beefing up the OL. A lot offensive additions since yesterday. A few drafts, a free agent signing and a trade for a RB. I like what I am seeing so far.

The kid is highly rated, played all his starts at LT, but will play RT in the pro's. Competition for Howard.
Looks like they are getting the O-Line sorted for our new QB!
Although I would have liked Rambo or Lester! Maybe one drops to round 6!

A lot of safeties going before Rambo.

maybe Rogers, Swope or Stills will be available in the 6th. although the Jets never pick who I expect them to pick.

We have Allen and Bush. Why would a 5th round safety with no experience in the system be better than the other late round safeties we already have who are comfortable in the defense?

Makes no sense. Rambo is even more risky than going with those two.

This is the 5th round guys, not many solid options, even with good players on the board. Oday can add a ton for this OLine and has the potential to be a starter in a few years.

WTF? Who is our irreplaceble starter at guard? Ducasse? Colon?

If we can go CB, DT in round one we can certainly stand to pick up two guard / RT prospects in this draft.

Pick Analysis: "I've been crying for offensive lineman. I felt like he was a right tackle only. That's not a good thing because if you're not a starter you won't be an active man on Sunday. He has to compete to make a spot on the Jets." -- Mike Mayock

I know Rex loved Josh Bush last year taken in the 6th. Guess we gotta see what he can do.

That's awesome, seems like a great guy. Kiper said so too.

Don't like the pick but at least it provides depth and shores up the o line.
