    The only good news is at least we didn't waste picks to move up to get him.

    We have a QB, he just needs weapons and now we will waste rebuilding years w/ a project QB w/ no weapons.

    not any good enough weapons left, because of that I'm fine with this.

    let him ride the bench, get him used to this system, start him next year after another competition.

    As they should... the fucking Jets always think they know more than everybody else. This is one of the absolute worst draft picks in the history of the franchise. He will be out of the league in 3 years just like Pat White.

    more importantly, we might not have mark sanchez at starter anymore. which is much more important.

    if smith doesnt have 30 picks and isnt the 35th ranked qb in football its an upgrade to sanchez
