Lmfao......maybe we can have Coples play safety too, and Wilk can play OLB!

The lack of understanding on this of schemes and how our current players fit in said schemes is staggering.

The rebuilding BPA theory for this team is not one that I would attach the reason for what they did. I felt before the draft that Rex and co. needed to address the D , at the line especially because they lost key players and they were weak at stopping the run - giving up 4.3 yards per attempt is not the kind of D Rex is proud to boast.

Say what you want about rebuilding but in todays NFL, the word re-make is more apt - all it takes is for few key players to be plugged in, some others with injuries to rebound ,and hopefully a QB that fits well with a new offensive scheme.

You are not smart. Coples CAN stand up. Your lack of knowledge on anything that's been talked about led you to do the only thing SOJF's know how to do... be sarcastic to try and deflect from the fact someone made a good point, because you can't make one in return.

DE is not equal to DT. Last year and the year before we drafted DEs, not DTs. Coples can play both positions. It gives us more versatility up front and more power with the 4-3 fronts when we run them. We'll probably see Wilkerson-Coples-Richardson-Ellis in 4-3 and Wilkerson-Coples-Richardson or Ellis in the 3-4s. Ellis will continue to have a decent backup role, or may even start until Richardson gets acclimated. I know that NTs can have a very difficult transition from college to pro. Either way, the Dline and the secondary will continue to be the strengths of the D, and the team as a whole. I just hope we get a good pass rushing OLB before the draft's over to put the icing on the defensive cake. They can't possibly ignore OLB again this year, but it's going to be tough needing 2 OGs, and TE as well, while trying to trade up for a QB.

We needed help on the Oline, Warmack would have provided it. Rex ran the show and got defenders like always. We are a one trick pony.

only we didint get the BPA with either pick....im fine rebuilding, i wanted to rebuild, i said last year we had no shot and needed to do it.

but you dont rebuild by ignoring your immense flaws and reaching on guys. that those 2 guys were 2 of our top 4 only shows how incompentant our front office still is

why on earth are you assuming that everybody but you doesn't understand or agree w/drafting BPA??? Milliner is a top 5 Pick in this Draft who we scored at 9 and Sheldon Richardson is absolutely BEAST who F'd up even the Alabama OL. GREAT PICK. Warmack would have been fine too.

P.S. 75% of those complaining about picking Sheldon Richardson will be sporting Sheldon Anderson Jerseys w/in 3yrs.

If Turk is right, I'm wondering just how far down the road are we drafting for this year. 2016? 2017? 2018? In what draft year do we address our other personnel problems? When do we have enough defensive guys if ever..

its not that richardson is bad or will be a bust. but he wasnt the Best player available, and at the very least there were players available who were as talented who play a positon we are 10000 times weaker at and super pressing needs.

Nonsense..Warmack was taken two picks before the Jets chose. He was higher on their list and would have been taken if he was there..he wasn't.

BPA is subjective, it's not a given fact as is the overall strength and weakness of our roster. You're starting from a position that is based on facts which is a complete fabrication of a delusional mind.

If you want to engage in discussion about football and actually learn something start from the position that you are stating opinions and try and develop an argument to back it up.
