Scarily, Sheldon Richardson looks an awful lot like another bust Jet draft pick, Dewayne Robertson.

Every 'expert' rankings site I'm looking at has him ranked in the top 10. What's with the hate for the pick?

These picks highlight the mistakes we have made in the past. We have no faith in Wilson who played pretty well last year but he hasn't lived up to the first round value. And then this is a no vote of confidence in Kendrick Ellis.

It is concerning we didnt address more pressing needs like olb, or the entire offense but I will wait to see what these guys can do before I make judgement. Izdik didn't eff up the previous picks.

I really hope we play a lot of 4-3 and 4-6. Following in the giants foot steps with building up the dline. I agree if Rex wanted this guy then I trust him. He knows his dline and hit on wilk and coples.

It's a sign of playing 4 man fronts or that Rex will be fired next year and we will be bringing in a 4-3 coordinator. I hope it's just option one

Rex isn't running this draft. If he was his mouth would have been flapping non stop for a week before.

    Is everyone here joking????

Granted not many of us saw the Richardson pick coming, but we have 6 ROUNDS left to address the offensive side of the ball.

Let's be grateful we didn't reach by trying to go QB. Geeze.... some people...

No it is blatantly obvious that he is running this draft.

We're in agreement that Coples was a surefire hit? I'm not sure yet. Love Wilkerson
    though of course.

Haha, I was thinking the same thing about his highlight reel, which was impressive before when they showed it. Hopefully Sheldon's knees are OK.

Of the few places when didn't have a huge need.
There were impact players at position of need.
    And we go DT.
It is so hard being a Jets fan.
I just dont know what to think.

Rex Ryan is running the draft with all the D picks. Idzik must be in over his head and he's already proven that with the first two choices. The NFL network guys all looked shocked with the jets first 2 picks and so did Millner and Richardson.

This guy is gonna surprise you. He is super quick and gets great penetration. Exactly what the Giant did to get to Tom Brady. With Coples and Mo coming off the edge it will be exactly what we need. The rest of the draft should be all offense. TE, QB, WR.
