I'm way past this thought process. If Rex knew what he was doing, he would have bolstered the offense there.
It's not the DT, it is the one taken with who was still on the board. The CB pick is fine, will be an immediate upgrade over Wilson.
Clearly we're in tank mode for the number 1 pick in 2014 But seriously, I don't mind taking a DT it's the 9th pick for Millner. I'm also shocked we took Richardson over Star who I think is going to be a stud in the NFL. MAN I'M PISSED!!
That would be the only explanation that would make sense, we are a 3-4 team that drafted 4 dlineman high in 3 years, we came into this 1st round badly needing a pass rusher and a whole lot of help on offense, and we did nothing to help that, we have ignored linebacker and offense for way too long.
Like I said, Coples HAS TO BE moved to OLB...that must be the logic behind this. Or we're getting a 4-3 defense next year with a new coach. I just don't get this.
LOL. Again, our 5 last first round picks have been spent on DL or CB. Our offense finished 30th last year.
well you posted that in the thread about Sheldon Richardson, clearly complaining about the 13th pick. And by the time the 13th pick came around, Warmack was no longer available...
Not sure if we are officially a 4 man front or a one gap 34 now. What ever it is it better be fucking great or Rex is done for.
Some of you are so lost. You don't think when Rex looks at DT he doesn't know his stuff? He worked these guy's out.
The defense was 6th last season. Do these players do much to make it better than that? Is their value in making the defense better outweigh offensive playmakers?
