But we still could have traded him DURING THE SEASON. He is not just a mid-tier LB. He's the best shutdown corner in the league (of which there are maybe 4 in the NFL). In the past 5 years he is SECOND in passes defended. That is RIDICULOUS when you consider that nobody passes his way!! And you don't think he could have gotten any takers from teams who are on the verge of contending but need help in the secondary?? Child please.

This trade was a joke. I can only conclude that people don't appreciate what kind of player revis really is. But we all will when he is shutting the NFC south down. #JulioWHO???

Woody knew all along he had no intention of paying Revis.

He should have traded him when he was healthy.

6 in the top 100 does bode well. I hope this happens.

The value of what we got is about equivalent to the Viking's two first rounders. Interpret that however you want.

You sound like a whiny fucking 14 year old stuck in your generation of idiots... with the fucking hash tag ? the hell ? you obviously are the joke if you think getting a top 15 draft pick to go along with our top 10 draft pick is bad,he just came off an injury, you really think we would pay him money we dont have on a player who just came off a ACL tear ? sit the hell down somewhere you need to just let our GM do his damn job.

The fact that you disagree with this trade makes me feel very confident with the move. Idzik keep working your magic.

6 years no guarantees for Revis, LMFAO!!!!!

There were rumors before Rex got the job that Woody wanted Cowher. If Cowher was ready to coach come January, he would be the coach right now. Even at 9-7, Rex is still losing his job, and Cowher will probably be the coach.

Rex is a lame duck coach who basically needs to win a playoff game to keep his job. Make no mistake about it.

And Idzik and Woody made Rex's job a lot harder by forcing the defense to now have to defend 2 wr's, instead of 1.

With all that's happened in the last 2 years, it's hard to stay positive.

right he's only cleaning up the tough shit stain left by Tanny. If we didn't commit so much money to players that are playing to their contract then we could have Revis as a jet for life.

The spin job Revis will give is going to be sickening. How can you trust a disgruntled person such as Revis. He will talk the same way about the Bucs after a year or two.

Once a bitch always a bitch.

Which i understand but, while the fact lingers that our best player is gone kills me
i also see a great chance to strike gold with our new draft picks. You have to acknowledge the fact this isnt the same team that drafted Vernon

You're a homer. It's our job to make your skin crawl. Now go have a good cry over this trade then get over it and move on into the real world.

Woody didn't even go to the meeting when Cowher came in, he was in Europe or someshit.

Who doesn't want money? This is Revis' job...his career. The NFL is a business.
