I'll give the first couple games of 2009. That's the only time imo that he played like someone that could be a good QB.

Those other times you listed was a reach.

IND in the playoffs in 2010 was not a good game. Not sure if people remember that game correctly.

I give HOU though since Sanchez played well most of that game. I agree on

PIT/CHI but PIT was more historic for never winning there and more Sanchez being a good game manager not wowing you as a QB. We scored 13 offensive points in PIT.
CHI was a nice game from him. I relaly enjoyed his play in that one.

MIA/SD/BUF is a good find. I agree on that being a wow stretch from him.

WAS I disagree with. It was him being a game manger not wowing you as a QB

He hasn't gone on that stretch even which made you go "man he could be a top QB in this league". That's not saying he was terrible every single game for us, he was solid and very useful to us in 2009 and 2010 and the beginning of 2011. But his performances seem very watered down now comparing him to day 1 starting rookies that include Dalton, RGIII, Luck, Wilson, and Tannehill. Before it was just him, Flacco, Ryan that played significant amounts of time as day 1 starters. Not as you expand the list Sanchez's play becomes less impressive

Painful thought isn't it. I would think that it might have worked. If Schotty was as brilliant a football mind as was being talked about back then, He could have concentrated on the big picture and hired another OC. Couple that with Ryan solely concerned with the defense and we might have gone as far with that Leadership team as the one we wound up with.

He had a terrible 1st half but a good 2nd half including setting up Folk for a chip shot FG to win it.

Remember where we were as a team going into Pitt, we were on an awful streak. We only scored 13 as an O but that TD drive to tie it late in the 3rd was HUGE to turn around our season. Then he led us to the FG to take the lead, after that a long time consuming drive late in the game that set up the Steelers inside their 5 which led to the safety.

He will never be a top QB in this league, never was going to be but he can win in January and this is important or I should said he was able to win. Can we get that guy back? Can Marty build him back up to where he was? The '10 version we could win SBs w/ as long as he has the right people around him.
