I'm glad they are looking into Guards.
It's possibly the biggest glaring hole on the team (well along with OLB, S and TE).

But if considering a 31 year old, why not just re-sign Moore?

yea we have a lack of guards right now so he could be a good stop gap, Since Willie Colon is injury prone hopefully between the two of them they can make things happen

Moore is done, he was manhandled on the Buttfumble and was also a part of the back sack McElroy. Both time the Dlineman pretty much picked his ass up and carried him into the backfield

Anyone know if Scott can play Center?
Wouldn't mind a Rob Turner type player for depth. Still think we should draft a Guard within first 3 rounds, but competition and injury insurance needed either way.

Brandon Moore was totally Not manhandled on the buttfumble,if you watch it closely, dont know why some still think that.

Maybe not but it was pretty clear that Moore was a shell of his former self last year. It's time to move on from him.

As for SackElroy, the '92 Cowboys o-line couldn't prevent him from being sacked.

Because of Collinsworth blowing the call on TV. Think he was in so much shock over what an ass Sanchez was that he couldn't believe his own eyes.

i'd rather have him take a sack than turnover the ball to the other team, as el taco loco did multiple occasions last year, in just one game only, besides the rest of them ( pats, titans, cards, bills, fins, 49ers, seahawks, etc......):shit:

What would you call it when Wilfork gets under, lifts him and pushes him back into Sanchez' slide? I would probably blame the buttfumble on Greene blowing the play and not running into the hole that was called, but Moore was used like a rag doll on the play.

Well - yea - a sack is better than a turnover. No shit.

Getting sacked all game isn't going to help you score points though so, yea.

Sanchez was in the backfield with no defenders around him. He had plenty of time to throw the ball away or just turtle up on the ground. Wasn't this first down also?

Moore was not used a rag doll. That play started with Mangold & Moore double-teaming Wilfork. Then Mangold moved away & Moore was standing more straight up. Moore was not falling or moving backwards until a helmet got shoved up his ass.

Read that article. Think it's written by Sanchez mom or best friend. Every thing that could possibly be blamed on Sanchez is somebody else fault.

QB on a busted play on 1st down decides to run into the trenches & slide with OL & DL all around him. Meanwhile his OL blocking scheme is setup for another play. Also, he has no pass rush around him when the play starts.

As for the picture with Moore's leg in the air. It's too blurry for me to see if it's before or after Sanchez slammed into his ass.

    =======
I've got no problems replacing Moore. With his age & game starting to go downhill, I hope Jets move on or give him at most a 1-year contract. Butt Fumble is still based on Sanchez making bad decisions during that play.

I read the article already. What exactly was Greene doing on that play? Busted play, Mark is trying to make something out of nothing, the pocket is collapsing - what was he suppose to do? Mark panicked and well the rest is history. Again, it's not all on the QB - all factors should play a role.
