Considering how strapped we are for cash (thanks Tannenbaum...and bradway, you should have been canned sometime around the doug jolley trade, dewayne robertson or mike nugent picks), he would provide great value. He broke off runs and had great YAC out of the backfield in OAK while McFadden was averaging like 2.0 YPC.
Liked him, but we need a feature RB. He was a great compliment with TJ and LT. This is one jersey I wish I didn't drunkenly buy in the offseason after 09 run.
Greene was one of the worst starting RBs in the NFL. Best of luck to him in his new, more appropriate role.
I have no bad feeling for Greene, He would not fit into this new system. I wish him luck with the Titans. Damn are team is changing fast.
He'll definitely pair nicely with CJ. Will be missed until we see success filled in at the position, even though he is a #2 RB all along. Question now is, are McKnight/Powell the answers?
Greene for 2 has officaly signed with the titans 3 years 10 million. Thats actually a good combo Chris Johnson and then Greene comes in to change the pace , thats what he is ment for, good ridance

BUMP for the sake of something to talk about.... With the new rule (15yard penalty) for running into someone with your helmet, Jeff Fisher had to be looking at Shonne Greene's tape of him running head first into the first thing he sees and wanna puke! Tennessee just paid $10M for a penalty machine. The only saving grace is Greene won't get the yellow flag for running into his own lineman! On a Jets note, I guess trading Greene for an elusive RB that actually tries to avoid contact may have been brilliant! Go Idzik!
