Someone asked if it is true and he said there is a BIG chance it is

That tweet , supposedly by Goodson's brother, has been deleted....I can't find it any longer.

Yea, I would say he's going to be a Jet tomorrow. Unless his brother REALLY screwed the pooch and leaked something that wasnt a sure thing.

 

Not arguing for the sake of it. I respectfully disagree with your opinion. Yeah, he probably should have said something in the subject that it was Twitter and/or a tweet from the guy's unverified brother. But it's as reliable of an inside source as we're going to get before an official comment comes out. Why do we have to wait? Why can't rumors be a part of the whole system, or twitter comments? I agree that he shouldn't have left it at that in the subject, but you can't seriously consider his post nonsense. It provides POSSIBLE insight into the situation, regardless of the source.

This is a message board, a place for discussion. Not a place to post only 100% verified sources. The guy's not intending to spam, he is intending to give insight before the news outlets have it. Sometimes it'll be wrong, but you shouldn't flame the guy for it.

If I'm wrong about what message boards are all about, then so be it, but I'm fairly confident I'm not. As I said, the OP (assuming it hasn't been modified) could have had a cleaner subject, but I have zero issue with the message.

False news, which it was, is not tolerated.

The deletion of that Twitter message supports TGG's policy of wanting a credible source.

Co-signing!!! When I want official news, I go ESPN, NFLN..etc. I come on these boards for rumors, gossip, opinions, discussions...etc. (good or bad; true or false)

 

Hopefully we can get Barnes, butler and pollard. Fill some holes so we have less holes to fill in draft

Read the rules about reporting false info, when you signed up.

Rumors are one thing, claiming something is official when its not isnt.

Whether you like it or not, many come on this site as a source for Jet news, when that news is false the site loses credibility. Thats why things are marked as "Rumor:" "Multiple Sources:" etc.

 

The signing seems to be false. Id like to apologize to the moderators for my initial posting of this and for any inconvenience it caused them.
