Love em, but can't see him coming to the Jets. We're doing a youth movement, and have McKnight in a similar role. Somebody will get a pretty good return man.
we made a big mistake trading him a few years ago but he is getting up there so I doubt we see him back. I don't know what McKnight's deal is like but if we could cut him and bring in leon for cap savings we'd be better off. At least we'd have a KR that doesn't fumble.
Here's the link: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9044351/seattle-seahawks-cut-returner-leon-washington-source It may be sentimental, but I really would like the Jets to sign Leon. He'll always be a Jet in my mind.
The price will be right. I'd bring him back simply because he can catch and it gives us other options at KR.
totally agree. Leon could play a bigger role in the offense than McKnight has been able to as well. McKnight on a rookie contract tho, so doubt it would be a cap savings. i'm still interested.
With all the discontent about the roster, Sanchez, etc around here Woody could do worse than to bring back a popular player. Might keep three or four season ticket holders from bailing.
always liked leon washington. hopefully he is still able to play, he had such a reduced role the past few years in seattle i wonder if his leg is actually ok to take a pounding.
