I seriously doubt anyone is going to give their life in support of Tebow starting in the NFL. I don't think his supporters are anymore fanatical in their efforts than you are in your non-support. You're free to not think he is a viable QB or good person, but I think it's hypocritical for you to suggest that they have more fervor and dedication to their side of the argument than you do.
Me? I'm just a guy that enjoys giving fanatics a hard time. you? Travel around the internet in an effort to try to convince the world that Tebow is a good QB. Then you try to make the battle personal. Yes, the "giving their life" was an exaggeration, but not totally crazy. It is true people will stick their necks out and defend criticism of Tebow the same way they'd defend one of their own children. It is like these people have some sort of personal stake in his getting a shot and succeeding. That is what makes Tebow fanatics so much fun!
I didn't make it personal. I just pointed out that you are criticizing people who are much like you, just on the opposite end of the argument. I don't try to convince anyone that Tebow is great. I join forums of teams he is on, because I like him as a player. I had only hoped to discuss football, but it seemed that every Tebow related thread turned into a pissing match. Not my doing. I post on a Tim Tebow related forum where there is no need to convince anyone because they are already fans. Don't know where you are getting your characterization of me from.
Mostly my experience with you since I joined. When I criticize Tebow, you'd go off on some rant about me being here at all or something. Yours was mild compared to what Cowboy fan tried to do, or even more to the extreme like Demosthenes9 was doing. That dude just plain got angry. Even through internet text, you could tell. Still, it is good to post on forums where more than one train of thought is allowed. Otherwise, you get communism in Ohio. Everybody sharing... nobody buying shit..... it's all BULLSHIT!!!!
LOL, can't believe a Tebow fan is making fun of Manning. Though, it was awesome when Manning choked in the playoffs.
You'll probably love this guy then. Who? Drew Litton? He used to do sports cartoons for the Rocky Mountain News before it went under. He actually had some pro-tebow cartoons during the run too, but almost all of his cartoons got negative afterwards. There is always an element of truth in them though, even if you don't like them. That thing with the buckteeth on Elway had been his trademark for about as long as I can remember.
Post more C.C. ! A particular co-worker of mine is 1 straight-up, HARD-CORETEBOW-ISTA to the nth degree! He considers Tebow as equally or more talented than RG3, R. Wilson, A Luck & Colon Kaepernick arguing that Te had done more with a Denver team that was less talented than the aforementioned (uhhhhh, Luck took over a 2-10 Colt team). He, like many Tebow-istas, combats our anti-Te statements w. useless stats coupled with hypotheticals/"what ifs". To him, Te can't do no wrong. If Te proclaimed that "2+2=5", he would back him to no end! Rather than argue, I just "piss" him off by e-mailing him these funny-@ss 'toons posted here by you & others! Keep 'em coming!
The Jets continue to make fans suffer by keeping the circus in town. I also understand it because there may be one remaining owner, or two, that is stupid enough to offer something more than a game ball for Tim's services. No harm in waiting a little longer then making a move. Idzik is already working on the position; Garrard's signing seems to indicate the Jets want to go into the season with him and Mark competing for the starting job. I don't see Tim or McElroy in the 2013 plans.
Impervious to any cowboys stuff... that's awesome. This one is way more creative if we are off cartoons going back to pictures
