Sure it does. I boycotted Citgo gas because it was predominantly owned by Venezuela, i.e. Hugo Chavez, an anti-US dictatorial leader who openly ripped on our country and would cackle at our demise. Now that he's dead, and a crazy anti-American wackjob isn't supreme overlord in Venezuela, I will not feel un-American by buying Citgo gas.

That reminds me... whenever I come to New Jersey I see this Joe Kennedy character on TV pumping up how great Hugo Chavez was and that poor people in the Northeast should be thankful for the kindness of the Venezuelan people for their heating oil. Who the fuck is this slack jawed Masshole Joe Kennedy?
Citgo gave a bunch of breaks for heating oil to the poor as a way of trying to repair their image and they hired Joe Kennedy to be the face of the program. Its all a ruse though, the knuckle-draggers that run that country still hate us
That's too bad. I liked Chavez. He was one of the guys out there who was heavily persecuted by our media because he spoke out against Bush and called him a donkey. Dude was pretty entertaining and cut his own salary to help his people. I think he was a good guy, despite the biased and often nonsensical portrayal by our media. I'm pro world and pro human. WTF is Unamerican? Primitive concepts like that over imaginary lines drawn on the ground are a problem. Not the guy that speaks out against foreign companies that go into 3rd world countries, and use their resources to make a profit that is not shared with the people, only used to make corporate executives rich, while the people country can barely afford the resources. It's a fair issue to be concerned about and it really goes back to the banks issuing loans that they know cannot be paid back.
I now live in the south. Have you any idea what company you are with with comments like that? I believe you can find out if you turn on TLC,one has a lovely pagent child and the other a trailer park.
