Game of Thrones beer is coming http://www.uproxx.com/tv/2012/12/hb...ming-up-to-make-game-of-thrones-themed-beers/
Game of Thrones S3 Anybody on here excited about the new season starting next month??? I don't watch alot of TV shows currently but Game of Thrones has got to be one of the best shows ever made.. If you have read the books or the book spoilers then you know alot of crazy stuff is gonna happen in the third season. I cant wait for this..... i dont know what people know or dont know so im not gonna spoil it for anyone
Game of Thrones is awesome and I'm really looking forward to the new season. I must take issue with the bolded though. That's one of my big pet peeves. Anyways I'm gonna need to watch the last couple of episodes to refresh my memory as to what's going on. Really interested to see what happens with Tyrion.
im the kind of idiot who reads all the book spoilers because i wanna see where everythings going , they have been going by the book all the way with this show so i dont expect things to change much . Alot of deaths to important charecters will happen this year without ruining to much
I'm a huge fan of the books... and book 3 was my favorite of the series so I'm really looking forward to the upcoming 2 seasons (they are doing book 3 over seasons 3 and 4... likely to buy the author some time to finish writing the last two books, although this book also happens to have the most "happen"). Having read the books a couple of times... I don't think the show is necessarily living up to the books, but that said the show is still a lot of fun to watch. The Battle of Blackwater Bay was fan-fucking-tastic... as soon as that episode ended a buddy and me went to the store, bought a whole bunch of beer, rewatched the episode and drank every time anything awesome happened. Three rewatches later and we were passed out on the floor. From the book perspective, the battle really wasn't that big a deal in the grand scheme. The house of the undying was a much bigger deal in the books and I think that was a bit of a letdown... especially for a season finale. It wasn't awful, just very "meh" when compared to the books. Assuming they don't veer too far of course for book 3, these two seasons will be legendary!
There is only a couple of series that im into and Game of Thrones is one.... I was waiting since Season 1 to see what the White Walkers were all about. I also want to see those Dragons finally grow up. I thought it took forever for the next season to come out.
Anybody needing a little fix while waiting for next season, catch the show "Ripper Street" on BBC America this Saturday. You'll recognize a few people, and its a pretty decent show on its own.
Thanks for posting that. I tried watching the last series online, but it was piss poor so got the box set, good job too, couldn't wait until the next episode so pretty much watched them back to back. Yeah, I saw the trailer for that and thought it looked good, but the show lacks something for me, ok though
I've also read all the books so far. I'm just curious if you would have any idea as to when the next one is coming out? The last one left a lot of cliff hangers and I'm really looking forward to seeing how they resolve them.
I bought book 5 the day it came out...To this day I am only 33% in on my kindle. I read like 5 pages once in a while...haha Expect book 6 to be out in another 3 or 4 years...GRRM is milking this till the end of his days or it may end short. Dont worry though even if he dies the show will lead on. Btw Season 3 will be half of book 3 Season 4 will be the last half of book 3 Season 5 & 6 they will probably mesh books 4 and 5 together. Season 7 will be book 6 Season 7 will be first half of book 7 and i have a feeling Season 9 will be last half of book 7
Martin gave an expectation that Winds of Winter would be published in 2014. So you can unrealistically expect it in 2015, more likely in 2016.
Thank you! I was wondering how much longer it would take. I hope it doesn't end up like Dune when his son had to into his old files and finish the story (and add in a prequel). Though I enjoyed what he did, the ending did leave me a little disappointed.
Bronn meets Jorah Mormont (and the show does need better plots, but the dialogue, acting, and settings are all top notch) http://m.youtube.com/index?&desktop_uri=/#/watch?v=ThqOr-SJUWc
The trailer is out...Who is reading for some fucking awesomeness this season? Best fantasy book out of the series is book 3 which will be the first half of this season i think. Sweeeet
