The NY Jets have the highest ticket prices in the entire NFL right now. This is part of the exodus problem.

If this is the case and you have lost your "tenants," all the more reason for you to bail Champ. Believe me, you are NOT going to be able to part out your 2013 season tickets and sell them individually on StubHub and break even. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN,... NO WAY. NOT NOW. HASN'T BEEN THE CASE IN YEARS.

So unless your tickets are Chump Change to you (which you say they are not), you'd better unload this Spring (unless you don't mind taking money out of your SS money to make up the difference with the loss). Sorry to tell you the bad news.

    Answer:

    1) It makes him feel good to be a "landlord," and

    2) It gives him something to talk about on this board.

    There is no other reason.

I would have to go back and do a lot of research but it should really be fuck the Jets. The Giants wanted a new stadium. While the old place has the best sightlines around the Giants and Jets were I believe numbers 18 and 20 in revenue. The Giants wanted a new stadium that still had good sightlines maybe not as good as the old place but not this awful and more luxury boxes but not what they have now. The Jets wanted this disaster.

I will never forget the very first tour I took with one of the reps. One of the first things I asked was about those outside open metal vents. I asked if they opened and closed like dampers do and he said " no they are stationary and stay that way ". I looked at him and said " why " he had no good answer just said that is " how they designed it " . I turned to buddy and said this should be interesting on windy days or when the cold weather comes !
I remember that Raven game in the pouring rain,,,,,the concession guy inside the upper concourse and his merchandise getting soaked along with all of us looking for shelter from the elements. This stadium is such a freaking mess design wise and I cannot believe that it was signed off on and approved by anyone! What in the name of bat thermal underwear was anyone thinking ? Thank god I did not buy a freaking cockamammy PSL ! Next year should be a very interesting Super Bowl,,,if there is anything good in this world then the weather will be blustery and cold that whole week and these greedy bastards get all the bad press and loss of revenue that they truly deserve

The Jets wanted a larger seating bowl

Man, that statement jumps off the page with me.

I didn't know that until now. What a freaking disaster.

I also know many many giant fans ( see my old man and brother ) hell I have just as many friends that are giant fans as I know jet fans but I stray,,,,,,I hate to break it to you Champ but no one I know,,,no one ,,,regardless of their seat location,,,regardless of which team the root for likes the new place ! Then again you and I probably know different people,,,yeah yeah that must be it:beer:

hehe hefty bowl... other teams would be so happy to say wimpy wimpy wimpy. its almost perfect.

i was thinking glad because they are trying to convince us we are happy.

that article was hard to read, this entire stadium is painful, i would not be unhappy if a sink hole developed in the middle of the coaches club.

2nd year in the stadium and they beat us (as visitors on xmas eve) and then their arch nemesis the cowboys on a sunday nite and then a playoff ass kicking in consecutive weeks.oh and then a historic run to the super bowl. yeah we wouldnt be complaining either. now start to regress rapidly like our team and the circus atmosphere and lets see what happens then.

The Giants were going to build an old type brick stadium, almost like a Lambeau field. They had the correct idea. This piece of crap is all Woody. Woody wanted even more fancy stuff but the Giants put there foot down because of the rising price. I know the Giants never wanted the roof, not sure what Woody wanted.

This is funny piece about our place and the 2 new ball parks. The Lump as Met Life is called is towards the bottom

Champ, in case my Pension runs out, I did these prop bets for the Super bowl to supplement my income

    Over +1.5 total interceptions
    V. Davis Over 3.5 receptions
    V. Davis Over 52.5 rec. yds.
    V. Davis - MVP
Yeap, I like the 49'ers and Davis to dominate. The MVP is $2200 for a $100 bet, that's 2 seasons of tickets Champ. If I lose, I won't be able to eat for a week.

hehe that was a good article. the guy seems like a bit of a douche at times but he was pretty funny and it was very true. fucking 30 year shame built in large part by our idiot owner. whom he didnt give nearly enough credit to for this hot mess of shit.

1st I said U or any carper. I did not single U out. Since there are maybe 30,000 or 40,000 NYG STHers & there is nothing in the media of them complaining like the very few NYJ STHer on this board do tells me the NYGs STHers are snug as a rug with the stadium
