Turner going elsewhere was not a surprise.

I like the mention of Morningweig. SP. Winning team and all that. I think when Vick went to the Eagles his play improved, but now his fragility is catching up to him. And he still takes off too much, but I don't know if you can blame those factors on the OC. Marty has experience fielding a successful O in the cold Northeast. It might be a good fit.

The frequent posters on these message boards will become the new GM and will make all the decisions by committee.

I hope it is Hue Jackson, but it will probably be Rex.

Dang, Turner was my #1 choice, but I wasn't really expecting it to happen. I'm pushing for Hamilton now. He's an up and comer from college and could be the next big thing. We shall see.

His jumbo set formation impresses me he has a mentality to drive the ball down defenses throats.

Truth be told it doesn't matter all that much. It's unlikely that this team will do much next year since there is no NFL caliber qb on the roster, and not much by way of free agency or the draft to improve the situation. That means Bill Cowher, or some other high profile coach, will likely be the coach in 2014, and obviously that coach is bringing in his own people.

It goes away for a year. Thats it. And thats assuming he plays averagely.

He's no franchise QB and unless you have one, you still have a QB problem.

Doesn't seem to be any franchise QBs via draft or FA, might as well get a stop gap. We don't want to rush to pick a QB in a weak QB draft just because we want and need a franchise QB which is what we did in 2009.

I think Hue stays in Cincy. so that leaves us with Morhinweg, who I hope we don't sign. who else is out there?

maybe we bring in a college coach to run our offense.

Im not saying that at all. Believe me, I know as well as anyone on this board that this QB class isnt very strong. There are still some players who could turn into good NFL players if developed properly with the right coaching and supporting cast. I am a huge proponent of building a supporting cast on offense in this draft and waiting until the 2014 draft to try and finally get our franchise QB.

I just think its completely silly (to be nice) to think that if we sign Matt Moore, our questions at QB are answered.

I mean lets face it, if the guy was even an average QB, he would be in a lot more demand and probably would be starting. He's by no means the answer. He may not make as many mistakes as Sanchez, but I find it hard to picture him putting the team on his back.

Pep Hamilton should stay at Stanford. Too much uncertainty with the Jets.

Jeremy Bates. He was on Herm's staff in 2005 as QB coach. Trestman is not retaining Bates as Bears QB coach. Bates worked with Cutler in Denver and Chicago. Bates also worked for Pete Carroll at USC and Seattle. If Idzik is the GM,Bates was with him in Seattle. Bates as QB coach or OC.

Why would Turner want the Browns OC position ?

Might not have a QB unless you like an old Weeden......wasteland.....little publicity in Cleveland....new coach.

Maybe Norv thinks Chud gets canned in 3 years and he moves up ?

I believe Norv's son is also in the Browns staff and that was the main reason he went to the Browns.

Chudzinski was an assistant under Norv in San Diego.

The Jets are apparently intrested in X -Men Charecter and leader of the X Men School Charles Xaiver to be there next offensive coordinator, They figure with his powers of mind reading and whatever else he can make Mark Sanchez a better QB , Report: Some 1 had to tell Woody Johnson that he wasn't real and that he was a comic book charecter
