Its not just the product, its the PSL. I know Giant fans that buy seasons and sell the big games... Steelers/Packers/Cowboys to recoup money. In the old days, they would ever sell those games but 10k PSL's do that.

my brother inlaw does this. sold the steelers packers and cowboys tickets. i WANT TO GO to these games not sell them. i buy season tickets to have these games. but now i should reconsider bc times have changed. u used to need to have season tickets in order to get these games or pay thru the nose. now u pay thru the nose for season and can score the good games for reasonable prices. no preseason bullshit
Not for giants tickets.....Jets tickets yes you can do this. For my dads giants tickets we sold them for 400 each lower level goal line. Who wouldn't take that money it pays for preseason games
Reality says otherwise. In the first 2 years of Rex (Giants Stadium & New Meadowlands), the Jets were the hottest in the NFL in terms of fan interest and yet you could have gotten almost any game at under face value on stubhub. If you don't give them a compelling incentive, people will just stay home and watch on their big screen
there just arent that many jets fans. and there are even less willing to put up with bullshit. 50 dollars to 85 dollars like the bengals are charging for decent seats and the place would sell out. 105 to 225 or whatever the fuck they are trying to sell them for and you end up with an empty stadium. AND all the guys who were such schleps that they would buy em year after year after year finally got priced out and will never return. woody has fucking himself straight in the ass with this new stadium deal. and there are plenty of guys who said fuck you a year or two ago that are happier about it than they ever thought. they hated to give em up at first but now that they see their game day experience really doesnt suffer, it actually gets better staying home they now realize they are making money by not giving up money for what amounts to nothing.

I think U R missing the point that those fans even though they had season tix chose to stay home & watch the game on there HDTV in there man cave & at the same time make some money along the way is better then going to the game & seeing them live & in person. Just maybe the HDTV revolution may have made that STHer thinks it is no longer so important to go to the game & face the mobs, traffic etc, etc, etc :sad:
Should I take 5k for 4 PSL in 126 row 20 psl or hold out and see if I can get more?? I would like to get 6000 total and take a loss of 4000.
Its the PSL's stupid, not the mancave, HDTV and traffic nonsense. My friend is trying to recoup some $ after spending $40,000 on PSL's. He does not care how his team is doing, he looks at what he can get for a particular game. He would sell Boys and Steeler tickets if the Giants were 10-0 and had to watch the game on a black and white TV in the woods. Even Super Bowls don't make up for $40,000 friggin dollars unless you are a 1%. Its insane!!!!!!!
