That safety and the CB play of Denver has been horrible. Champ Bailey is washed up and that safety won't be on the team next year.
Okay, now I'll agree that Fox doesn't deserve to win this game after calling a run on 3rd down with a minute to go, and now taking a knee with 35 seconds to go. That is absurd.
When that ball hung in the air for so long, I actually said this whole sentence out in my head: "That's a pick. I hope Jones at least comes back for the ball and tries to knock it down. Who cares. Fuck the Ravens. I'm gonna ask my girlfriend to have sex. Yeah. I think I have enough time between gam...." OOOOOHHHH SSHHIITTTTT!!!!! That Safety is terrible!!!!! Wow!!
Absolutely. Up 7 give the defense 78 yards to defend and they let a receiver get behind them. Hilarious. I want double OT
So I can do anything to a guy's head so long as I touch some other part of him too? How many head blows actually happen that way? Very few I think. That would be a crazy rule. Which I don't believe was the case in 2001. I agree with you that most fans don't understand the tuck rule. In fact there are a LOT of rules that most fans don't understand well. PI for example is quite complicated and even the announcers get it wrong a lot. And the NFL rule book? It's pretty much impossible to figure out what the rules are by reading it. The thing about the tuck rule is that there needs to be some sort of rule that determines when the passing motion is over and the forward motion thing doesn't apply any more. What we have now is one choice. Others are certainly possible.
