I think he'd be better again with Hue at OC, we have more weapons and a better line than Oakland

No, Norv is not definitely a Brown yet. He is "expected" to sign with them, but he has been "expected" to sign with them for a couple of days now. So I guess something is holding that up.

Technically we dont NEED a GM to sign before we sign an OC right ? ... which in that case i really dont see why we havent gone after him earlier.

No, Rex picks the coaches according to Woody. I think Rex is going to want someone to lean on when picking his offensive coordinator though.

Exactly.. because Rex knows nothing about Offense so he will pick someone who knows what their doing and has their own style of doing it so he doesnt have to worry about it,which is why im puzzled they havent went after NT yet i wonder if he will make a late push to land him.

Shit...and I wanted Norvell....damn Jets dragging their asses again will result in a shit coordinator...Woody really needs to drag his head from his ass and get this done.

yeah...except....it has been said Rex is holding off on announcing the new DC until the GM is hired and that is from within...seems to say there is no way in the world he would hire a new OC from outside without the new GM on board...just one more fuck up by the Jets in taking so long.

Thurman will be the man for the DC job.. i know it,but thats another problem why havent they snagged Gamble yet he has to be the best choice for a GM.. they have to make moves not stand there.

Rex is trying to keep his job after this year..ke knows whomever the GM is they won't want him starting out. I'm sure he feels if he waits and discuuses things with him it might help in keeping his job next year.

To complete the meltdown of this franchise, I'm going to go with the most hated person for the job...and our next OC will be Cam Cameron.

Why not go with the worst possible choice 2 years in a row?

Gamble is a long time friend of the Ryan family a friend of his father too and likes what rex does, i could see him not only being the best candidate but the only one to keep rex.

Cameron has a very good resume as an NFL OC.

I apologize for interjecting a fact into this torrent of hatred for Cameron and manlove for Norval...a really bad choice.

I'd prefer Hue Jackson though over any of them

I was thinking Nacho for Flynn straight up. Bad contract for bad contract, new start for both sides and Nacho is reunited with Carroll. Obviously I don't know if such a trade is cap permissible.

Don't like it but I feel it will be Marty Mornhinweg.

Thank you. Outside of his time in Dallas when he had Hall of Fame talent at all levels of the offense nothing Norv has done really impresses me at all. Now if the Jets had an Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Irvin , Novacek and the best offensive line of a generation maybe Norv is our guy.

Have you read the guy's bio? Outside of his 2 years stint as a HC (working with the probably the worst GM of all times Matt Millen), what's not to like?
