I wanted Hue Jackson last year when Schotty was let go. I'd love for him to be our OC next season. The Jets will find something to fuck this up. I'm not confident we get anyone good.

How about a GM before the OC? Although I'd like Hue Jackson.

I don't think it really matters, maybe try someone from the college ranks. Keep Tebow and build a 1 year offense for him. Run the vear or something.
It's about getting more draft pics at this point , not winning. We are 5 years away from that.

Might be too late for Hue if you wait that long.

With all the political fodder over the 2nd amendment, I would be skeptical about this statement...maybe Asphyxiation?

Why all the hate for Mornhinweg? It's not like he's going to have control of any OT coin tosses.

I would like that strategy. Hell, we may even make the playoffs.

  10. Really like Mornhinweg..people rave about his creativity. He's also good w/ QBs. He's been a HC before(albeit didn't go so well) and you know he can take charge.

Interestingly enough Hue Jackson has alot of the same qualities. Mornhinweg is likely the better QB guy..but Hue seems to have much better blocking schemes.

Rex picks his coaches the new GM has no say over that.

KC has their whole staff in place with no GM hired yet

He does if it will cause the Jets to become an even bigger circus than they already are. Hiring his brother would do just that.

For starters it is keeping good GM candidates from wanting any part of this place, it kept Norv Turner from wanting any part of this place and we will probably hear that it has kept some players from wanting any part of this place..why else?

what good GM has kept that away from us, guys are interviewing because they want the job. Caldwell made the right choice however going to Jacksonville because he's young and failing in New York would be bad for his future

Who cares about Norv, he's over rated and made the choice to coach with his son, which is something to consider, there's still Hue Jackson available and a few other under the radar guys.

As far as players go, Rex is a players coach, guys love him, especially those who've played for him so thats not stopping anyone from coming here especially with us opening up our offense

Why? For starters we have a lunatic for an owner who supports a buffoon as our HC. Then that HC admits he did zilch with the offense for 4 years and failed! Yet he remains as our HC ( head case not head coach) I could keep going but I get disgusted when thinking about how our team has become a national joke!

I don't know what GM but what other team is still in need of one? I guess you can blame it on the cap hell Tannenshit left us in but I am sure that is not the only reason we are the only team left looking for one..btw, who else still need a DC and a OC and a ST coach..and a QB coach..and whatever else? Players loved Rex 4 years ago..players want to win first and that they thought was a good opportunity back then..do you really feel they think that way now?

Cleveland and Kansas City need GM's

We have a DC and STC, we just need an OC/QB Coach

Players came out and said after this year if Rex was fired they would want to follow him where ever he went

That just shows you Andy Reid has full control over the team

Who was named our DC? You are right about the STC. I hear rumors but if Rex really had control there would have been an announcement.
