I know I watched a lot of the Redzone this year. I must say, I like it. Nice alternative to watching these current Jets.
It's the opening line. We The People is a very small part of the Constitution but it's also the whole story so to speak.
What is that supposed to mean? Seriously...that makes absolutely no sense. If you're going to be so freaking negative all the time with your frowning faces, you should go root for another team. I like Rex Ryan  I like the direction the New York Jets are going in  I can't wait until Sanchez leaves  We're going to be contenders for the Superbowl, with the right GM, in five years. Woody Johnson knows what he is talking about. WE WON THE SUPERBOWL.
At least he had "named sources" *shrugs* I'm perfectly fine with the current constitution of the Jets, Rex as the face of the franchise, and have no problem admitting my man crush on Rex. The older he gets the more he reminds me of my grandfather - both the way he looks and the way he talks. I think he is good for the NYJs and even though the media coverage is ridiculously over the top, its better than being irrelevant every year. From recent memory I can recall 2012 Chiefs 2-14 2011 Rams 2-14 2010 Panthers 2-14 2009 Rams1-15 2008 Lions 0-16 2007 Dolphins 1-15 2006 Raiders 2-14 2005 Texans 2-14 2004 Browns 4-12 I don't see Jets on that list of "basement dwellers" Fix the QB position with a top 15 or better QB and you have consistent playoff appearances. Add a top 10 running back and you can go deep in the playoffs every year. Keep a championship caliber defense - and outside of a pass rusher and losing Landry to FA, we are close to that.
That was an awful article. What do fans going on social security have to do with anything  Kids in their 20s could be in their 30s before winning a Superbowl  Champ will die of old age before the Jets win a Superbowl
I hate the NY media and never want their job to be easy. Having said that, you know we're fucked when their takes about the Jets actually make sense.
I tend to think the devil is in the details, but if you thought that article was about Ryan owning a piece of the Jets, I would have to say wrong again.
I guess it is to hard for U to understand that a fan that is 55 now will be 65 in 10 years & will be retiring & beginning to sign up for there social security so what I am saying is we will be in the wilderness as the dregs of the NFL from now till then
While I appreciate your support I would say on the outside 5 years but most likely 7/10 years & each year RR remains as HC lenghten the process JMHO.
Might as well update your signature to 54 years without a Superbowl and Woody being 0-23 in bring a Superbowl to NY.
Yeah at this point the only joke has BECOME the media If the Jets are so inept & so far from contention..why waste so much time covering them? It's complete overkill.
The general tone is the same as everything else that's out there: Rex magically escaped the ax, seems to have had an epiphany in the Bahamas, recap of the press conference and pointed out that without a contract extension he's essentially coahing for his job next year. Nothing new to see here, move along.
