Remember he inherited the offense he had for three years, and as he pointed out, the team was constructed that way.
I am not upset that we are switching to an attack style. I am upset at the liar HC saying that is what he wanted all along, but it never got conveyed well. Anyone would've thought all along that you need an attacking offense in todays NFL to win.
Unless the reports coming our are lies, it seems like Caldwell and Gamble are lined up at the door...
wtf you want him to say? we cant win with this current roster and the cap is too fucked up to do anything about it?
this is the very first time in 4 years that we are hearing this from him, he promoted ground and pound and defense as his winning formula from the very first presser. I am not against an attacking style offense. I would much prefer it to the embarrassment we have now.
In 2009 he took over a team that was built for ground & pound. They attempted to build a longstanding identity around it & it didn't work. He's admitting it was a mistake & that philisophical changes are in order.
I'm not even listening to this crap and I can't take this!!! How the hell can any JETS fan listen to Rex without wanting to punch him in his face?
yeah but he and Tanny never drafted any play makers to adjust or even fit the first strategy. We weren't prepared for Faneca and Woody's retirement so the line collapsed, we didn't handle Sanchez correctly and didn't draft an OLB not once we've been shit in the personnel department
Even Rex has admitted to being a failure in certain areas. And we still have fans who disagree with him. :breakdance:
Rex sounding like Herm when we fired Hackett and hired Dinger. We are going to throw the ball all over the field. Two dead QB's later...
