I wonder if I walked away and defaulted like the article suggests if I could come back in five years and purchase upper deck seats.

i cant help but think some of these high priced psl's that are going for half price are the Jets themselves selling the unsold psl's... hey someone pays half price for a $60,000 psl still has to pay $700 a game tix thats a win for the jets right there

Woody is going to have reduce ticket prices by 20% to keep people in the Upper deck or its going to be a mass exodus.

should we start to flood the phone lines with calls now to put the idea in their heads about lowering prices or we're leaving?

I said this before the season started & was flamed so that makes U 4 months late in thinking of this

I think it is best to wait until the end of renewal time when they will be in a panic & 1/2 to sell them

dude, you'd be getting calls from the Jets ticket department for ticket specials on your way to court while the Jets were suing you for that old psl

Actually I think defaulting on PSLs would be such a huge negative for the NYJs that they will just hush it up instead of chasing fans for the money they owe

I was talking to my buddy today about what and when to do things. My buddy wants to ask for the world. Row 4 at the same price as row 8, no pre-season games and $15 parking. I am willing to go to the mat on this one, if they don't give me a lot, take it all the way through August, I know they will bend eventually and if not, then stub-hub 5-6 games. I don't want to come to that but this is it, I am in charge, not them. I am getting a better deal, time to pay up bitch for what you did to old time Upper deckers who you took for granted and did not make us a priority. This is our time to get back at them guys. Moving around is not enough. I am not scared of getting shutout, it can't happen.

I think prices will be dropped. Maybe not the $50 seats but I think they have to slash the $95-$125 seats by $20 a ticket.

They're going to have to give season ticket holders some sort of price advantage over individual face. The PSL is just completely worthless right now

We all talked about the bottom falling out if we hit some bad seasons but this could be worse than any of us imagined.

A couple more articles like this one and sheer panic will set in.... people unloading PSLs and guys walking from the Upper Deck. Woody will be looking at a stadium with a 35% occupancy rate and look like a complete idiot.

Because i had been under cover before, the only PSL seats that interested me were 100s under cover.

So when I went for my "Meet and Greet" that summer (2009?) the rep made me walk all the way up to my nosebleed seats in Row 16. After sittingin teh seats, he says to me, "You don't look too happy. Let's go downstairs and we can discuss some other options."

I thought he was going to offer me a closer row in teh UD, but no, he wanted to know "if you were going to buy a PSL, what area interests you the most?" So I told him 100s under cover, so I would up being shown EZ seats, like Row 23 or something like that.

The seats still sucked. WAY too far back, too gradual a slope, I could picture hundreds of assholes standing up on every play and the EZ never did much for me anyway.

So I walked out with my Row 16s, more pissed than ever at the process and the shape of the new stadium. I couldn't believe they could tear down such a perfectly shaped football building and put up this monstrousity, and then have the nerve to charge as much as they do.

Now it's all coming home to roost. I hope my rep is off somewhere selling Eureka vacuums door-to-door.

Not me when I posted what would happen before the season started I was flamed by U & others cause U did not think the season would be as stinky as it turned out. Now U have NOTHING to look forward for the at least the next 5 years & most likely 7/10 years

As I said if you are ever able to transcend your love for the NYJs then U & I will be on the same page & probably have quite decent FB discussions.

When 227 rags on you, you are in trouble. He's the most patient cat on this site. As I said, its the same thing over and over and over. Champ, you were right, you are the man. Can you just claim victory and move on already. Geez.

Agree under cover is nice from rain and weather but for resale value lower row is better. So it is something to think about I guess. I am going to see all of my options
