Fuck David Harris, he is overpaid, and is so damn slow, I want a top OLB or a trade down, and take a top ILB in the 2nd round, say Kevin Minter, or Artur Brown in the 3rd or 4th, we need to get faster, fucking trade him and get a pick

I agree with you. I have been souring on Harris for the last two years now.

Before replacing Harris we need to waive the Snail-slow trio of Scott Pace and Thomas which leaves Davis Harris some JAGs and holes playing linebacker. Since Harris costs a bundle due to another terrific Tannenblows extension it makes more sense to keep him around as a veteran bandaid for 13

I just don't see how the team can justify picking a defensive player the first round

That McIntrye kid aint that bad, plus and this is a big plus if our Dline continues to improve with MoWilk beasting, Ellis commanding double teams and Coples seeing the field more, our line backers should be fine. We should focus on gathering top tier offensive talent and focus on defense in the later rounds.

because as bad as the offense was the defense couldn't get off the field on 3rd down due to slow linebackers which is the easiest level to exploit.

the best offensive players are valued in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th round

What about Kenny Vaccaro if we cant resign Laron Landry or Bell ?

    Dude is solid.

    6'1 218 lbs

    Career Defensive Stats
Year Team G Int Yds TDs
    2009 Tex 13 0 0 0
    2010 Tex 12 1 0 0
    2011 Tex 13 2 0 0
    2012 Tex 13 2 19 0
    Career 51 5 19 0

He has good instincts and stays around the ball on both the rushing and passing attack he is quick and covers well. what stands out to me is he both covers and hits hard. and supposedly runs a 4.46
not saying he is a 1st round #9th pick worthy but he will be a good pick and a first rounder for someone. maybe not a top 10

Vaccaro is my favorite safety in this draft, but he's not a top ten type of guy. We will be able to add a stud pass rusher or OL at that pick.

it would be amazing if he lasts past the 1st round but if he does i would hope we can pick him up.
but looking at Pass rushers for our first pick i could see us picking up

Barkevious Mingo,Jarvis Jones or Damontre Moore

but with Wlikerson and Coples already here the D-line could be the best its ever been if we add any of them
