2 guys are ahead of the others Peyton Manning Adrian Peterson Who do you think deserves it more? I say Peyton. He came back after losing an entire season and made his team number 1 seed in AFC. Peterson is very close second.
Peterson just had one of the greatest seasons of any runningback in history, singlehandedly dragging his team into the playoffs while facing 8 men in the box on almost every play. Not to mention the fact that he did it on a recently reconstructed knee. If AP doesn't win the MVP, then we might as well rename the award "best QB."
Has to be AP. Has to. I understand QBs are more valuable in the game today, but MVP usually goes to the best player, and that has been AP.
AD should get it. Manning is valuable but the Broncos made the playoffs last year without him. No way the Vikings are in the playoffs without Peterson.
AD All Day. Manning has been great but let's remember that Tim Tebow, led this team to a division title and a playoff win last year after they started off 1-4 with him on the bench. And everyone here insists Tebow can't play QB at all. So if a guy who can't play QB at all was able to win the division with Denver, it's hard to give Manning MVP, no matter how great he's been (and no doubt Denver has been one of the top 3 teams in the NFL this season). AD has had one of the most incredible seasons ever for a RB. I'd rather have Tebow than Ponder, so he hasn't had a lot of help.
If the vikings hadn't made the playoffs, it would be peyton, but since they did, it has to be ap, that Broncos team would've made the playoffs with an average qb.
AP deserves it, Peyton has had a really good year but it he's not #2. How has he had a better year than Brady?
junc Not sure why but Brady's name isn't coming up much in the discussions. It is Peyton versus Peterson mostly.
it makes no sense other than the typical Manning bias. I appreciate what Peyton did coming back from a very serious injury. He had an outstanding year but the division is cake, their sched was cake, he threw more INTs, led his O to far fewer points plus Brady played w/o his 2 biggest weapons for good chunks of the season.
I see where you are coming from but he did everything with the support of his coach and team. He also played in a team he has played his entire career. He also didn't miss a season entirely after 4 neck surgeries. I personally think what Manning did was more impressive than what Brady did.
we disagree. I tip my cap to Peyton ut Brady was better against a tougher sched missing his key guys at TE. it's not a sentimental award, it's based on who the most valuable is. Den made the div rd w/ a RB playing QB a year ago.
There taking the MVP award like it was the comeback player of the year award. If Brady did better than Manning, why isn't he in the talks? That's how I see it. Should go to AP though, like others said, he carried his team into the playoffs.
AP. Denver was not only in the playoffs last year but they won a playoff game. With TEBOW at QB fer crying out loud. If you want the MVP QB, does anyone think NE is a playoff team with Tebow at QB?
They do play us, Fins, and Bills 2x a year  By default, shouldn't the MVP decide comeback player of the year since they're both coming back?
AP, had the Vikings not made the playoffs it would be Peyton. Keep in mind, Tim Tebow took Denver to the postseason, so it wasnt like Peyton didnt have a playoff team to begin with.
