Who do you think will win and who are you rooting for? I will root for Broncos on AFC and Packers on NFC I give slight edge to Packers for Superbowl Teams based on seedings are below NFC Falcons 49ers Packers Redskins Seahawks Vikings AFC Broncos Pats Texans Ravens Colts Bengals
Colts /Broncos for afc championship game would be a nice "story". Though, I'm not sure if it will happen. I think NE will go to the SB. Packers will take the NFC. NE beats Packers in SB. Another trophy for BB & the boys.
How about a colts redskins Super Bowl. It would be the most over hyped game ever. I want to see Denver out of the AFC, a d the Seahawks or 49ers out of the NFC.
Anyone but the Patriots. Russell is from NC State, so I would love to see him win the whole thing. I'd like to see Peyton as the AFC rep. Old grizzled vet vs young excited rookie. Luck vs RGIII. That will be a matchup which will have every talking head changing their pants several times over.
I like the teams with the most experienced QBs: NE/Denver vs. GB. But I would love to see a Colts/Redskins Super Bowl.
Screw all these teams. I still can't get over the Denver loss in '98 when the Broncos were over the salary cap.
Ravens vs Falcons that's right..I said it. but really though....Broncos vs Packers bronco victory! the horses of denver will stomp the battlegrounds in holy matrimony!!!
Seahawks beat Skins , Colts beat Ravens, Packers win, Houston wins Next week : Broncos over Colts after a sickening week in the press of Manning vs Colts Houston avenges and crushes Patriots Seahawks beat Atlanta Niners beat Packers Conf Championships - Seahawks down Niners Broncos crush Houston Broncos win big in Superbowl
Rd 1 AFC- Lower seed wins both! Colts over Ravens (Ravens are a shell of their former selves) Bengals over Texans (The collapse is complete) NFC Packers over Vikes (Vikes can't do it twice, esp at GB) Seahawks over Redskins (This one is a coin flip IMO) Rd 2 AFC Broncos over Bengals (This one will be close!) Pats over Colts (Luck isn't ready for this match-up yet) NFC Seahawks over Falcons (I still think the Falcons are frauds, would pick Redskins to beat them also) 49ers over Packers (Packers o-Line just won't be able to contain 49ers) Championship Rd AFC Pats over Broncos (Broncos lose to the first legit team they've played in 2+ months) NFC Seahawks over 49ers (Just a feeling) Superbowl Pats over Seahawks (31-17)
Divisional Round Texans beat Bengals Packers beat Vikings Redskins beat Seahawks (aside from the bears the Seahawks haven't beat anyone good on the road) Colts beat Ravens Divisional Round Broncos beat Colts (Peyton Luck matchup is hyped beyond belief all week long) 49ers beat Packers (home field in not having to go to lambeau and being able to get their guys healthy will be huge) Patriots beat Texans Falcons beat Redskins Conference Championship Games 49ers beat Falcons Broncos beat Patriots Super Bowl 49ers beat Broncos in a rematch of Super Bowl 24 that is a much more competitive game then when they last met in the Super Bowl
AFC Playoffs: WC rd: Cincy over Hou Indy over Bal div rd: Den over Cin NE over Indy Champ: NE over Den NFC: WC: Sea over Wash GB over Minny Div: Sea over Atl GB over SF Champ: Gb over Sea SB XLVII: NE over GB
Over their last 5 playoff appearances, Guess the QB: QB 1: 8-3, 2 SB appearances QB 2: 6-5, 2 SB appearances QB 3: 6-4, 2 SB appearances QB 4: 9-3, 2 SB appearances Highlight or quote to see below: QB 1: = Eli Manning (2nd best winning percentage and 2 SBs, 2-0 against other QBS on this list) QB 2: = Tom Brady (4th best winning percentage and 0 SBs, 0-3 against other QBS on this list) QB 3: = Peyton Manning (3rd best winning percentage and 1 SB, 1-0 against other QBs on this list) QB 4:= Big Ben (Best winning percentage and 1 SB, Luckily for him, 1-0 against other QBs on this list) Big Ben's playoff appearance where he was 1-0 against Peyton falls outside of Peytons last 5 playoff appearances so that's why those don't match up.
2006 Peyton: throws 3 TDs, 7 INTs, D carries him to SB 2007 w/ bye week: throws 2 critical INTs to lose at home to big underdog SD 2008: faces 8-8 team SD, loses on the road. 2009: good job against us, throws away SB 2010: loses at home in WC rd to Jets 3 of 5 years one and done, in Brady's career he's been one and done 2 times. by the way, Eli only has 5 playoff apps in his 9 year career, 3 of them he has been one and done.
Defense 1: 15.7 ppg Defense 2: 16.5 ppg Defense 3: 19 ppg Defense 4: 17 ppg Defense 5: 16.3 ppg Defense 6: 17 ppg Defense 7: 17 ppg. Bradys ppg scored in SBs: 20 Peytons ppg scored in SBs: 19.5 So which defense is which Junc? Who carried what QB to the playoffs? Clearly Brady has 5 of these defenses and Peyton has 2 for the playoffs. Could it be the defense needs to play well in the playoffs for QBs to win? No that would mean football is a team sport, we all know the QBs do everything  To anyone curios Brady had the 15.7 and 16.3, Peyton had 16.5 and a 17, and the other 2 17s and 19 are also Brady. Junc, I can also cherry pick games. Brady 2005: Throws 1Td and 2INTs, and loses. There was at least a 10 points swing while Brady in the RZ throws basically a pick 6 and leaves his defense a 1 yard field to cover which they couldn't. Brady 2006: Brady throws for 1 TD and 1 INT relying on 2 defensive touchdowns and still can't lead NE to victory by putting up 7 and 6 points in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Brady 2007: After playing one of the best games ever against JAX, struggles against SD throwing 2 TDs and 3 INTS. Defense holds SD to a grand total of 12 points. 2007: Giants SB, puts up 14 points after averaging 37ppg all season long. 2009: W/ a bye week since you think it matters: 2TDs and 3 INT including a sack strip fumble, sending fans to the doors at the end of the 1st quarter. 2010:W/ a bye week since you think it matters: 2 TDs 1 INT. Loses to team beat 45-3 in regular season, also mismanges clock down 10 in the 4th killing 8 minutes off the clock and netting 0 points. Down 10 again getting the ball on his own 40, can only move NE into FG range with great field position. 2011: @ home against BAL, 0 TD and 2 INT. Flacco throws bone crushing INT, Brady throws into double coverage and gets picked off immediately after Flacoo tries to throw the game away. This means Flacco and Sanchez have now easily outperformed Tom Brady in head to head playoff games. SB: Puts up 0 4th quater points, puts up 7 points with 13 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, in the remaining crucial possessions, Up 5 after Giants FG, goes 3 and out. Up 2 after Giants FG, throws INT. Up 2 with 9 minutes left in game, Gets to Giants 44, overthrows Welker who also drops it, throws behind Deion Branch, kills no clock and gets no points while 2 runs would have cost NYG timeouts and maybe gotten NE into FG range. Down 4 with 54 seconds, needing a TD not FG, not magic ensues. It's funny how when you look at stats, they are so similar and it's so easy to cherry pick and make a great QB like Peyton or Brady look so bad. Guess what Junc, when the defense, run game, and ST plays well, teams win the SB. It's what happens. Do you ignroe the relation that when Peyton's IND defense played well, he had playoff success and when NE defense lost a step, they stopped winning Super Bowls? Or the same relation that occured with Brees, Rodgers, Eli, and Big Ben. Do you just ignore factual evidence it takes a team effort to win and once NE turned into what IND was and they never wanted to become, they have had the same struggles as IND did with Peyton? Brady and Peyton are two of the greatest QBs ever. They are neck and nothing will really separate them unless one of them defies age and wins 2-3 more super bowls. It would be interesting to see what would occur if Brady left NE and joined another team like Peyton did. Those are always hypotheticals you wish you could see but never really happen.
Anyways what I want to happen: Vikings over Packers Redskins over Seahawks Colts over Ravens Texans over Bengals Vikings over ATL Redskins over SF Texans over Pats Denver over Colts Vikings over Redskins Texans over Colts Vikings over Texans. 2 teams that have never won, going for the 1st SB ever would be cool. What I think: Packers, Redskins, Colts, Texans Packers, ATL, NE, DEN Packers, DEN SB: Packers
