Remember earlier this season when a bunch of fans seriously argued that Sanchez is better than Cam Newton? That was fun.
 You've got to be kidding me!! If you dug up Sir Isaac Newton, and propped him up on a stick, he'd be better than Sanchez. At least we know he wouldn't throw pick-6's or ass fumble.
At no point in his career has Sanchez been even comparable to Romo or Newton. Don't take my word for it, just look at the numbers.
He is the WORST quarterback in the league, one of the worst quarterbacks to ever play for this franchise if not THE WORST. I can't wait til this team moves on from this clown. Once they do this team will be soo much better.
So Sanchez has tied his career high in lost fumbles for a season. His 1 interception brings him to 18, he needs 2 more to tie his career high of 20 ints in a season. He has tied his career record for turnovers in a season as well, with 26. Only one more to break that record, and we've got 13 min to go! He also has had a career high in overall fumbles (lost and not lost), he's at 14.
Did that last fumbled ball slip out, or did it get knocked out? I couldn't even tell. Lol. Ah, well. Man, is this guy the worse QB to ever play for us or what?
In true Jets fashion, ex-Jet Brad Smith breaks our back in the 4th quarter. Only in Jetsland does this shit happen.
I'm Glad Sanchez Started Today I'm glad we got one more chance to see Mark Sanchez again today. GMAC's concussion was a blessing in disguise. If there were ever any lingering doubts, any misgivings about making the right choice, any moments when you thought he needed just one more chance, this is the game that should put it away for you for good. This is the game the Jets needed to finally drive the silver stake in the QB decision. On display today was a complete encore... a recap if you will, of every fucking thing this guy has done wrong for the past 20+ games. Batted balls, ludicrous "shovel passes," overthrows, underthrows, immense amount of time staring people down, miscues, horrible timing, making your WR turn into a contortionist to catch the ball, balls thrown at the ankles, mishandles and total lack of ball security and finally, the perfect interception.... right on the numbers of the DB. This is the game that recaps and defines the Sanchez experiment and now there will be no doubts, no anxiety about breaking the news, no remorse whatsoever. This game was great. And we improved our draft position. I actually feel pretty good and I know that's kinda weird. Maybe we can move on now.
No but both Newton and Romo were playing as bad as Sanchez at that time. THat's what the difference was.
Agree with pretty much everything, especially liked that completely untouched by anyone fumble. Normally., I would highlight your last sentence and asked "Move on to whom?" After this game however there is no reason for this question because I believe that literally anyone will be better than Sanchez. McElroy, Tebow, Kerley, Rex, my 52-y.o. co-worker with a physical disability ... anyone. Case closed.
the thing that seals it for me in regard to sanchez is that his upside just isn't all that high. he is undersized, not-terribly-mobile, with an erratic arm. he can't get bigger or faster. at best he'll learn to manage a game and - if he gets some space - throw some good passes. but that's not what you want to gamble on at this point. if he were a specimen you might hope he 'puts it together'. but in sanchez' case, putting it together means he turns into mark bulger or jay cutler... you might take that if guaranteed, but to wish and wait for it? time to move on.
i agree with you 100% it's time to move on lets see what McElroy can do with a full OTA's, mini camp, training camp and pre season. Bring in a vet like Hassellbeck to mentor/backup McElroy.
