Jets could have Sean Payton calling plays, Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald and Wes Welker as his WR's, the 49ers o-line and Gronk at TE... and I still am not positive it would make things much different.
Yeah but the pass to Braylon Edwards just before the FG was classic Sanchez. This is a routine pass that a HS QB can make... just lead him a little and it's a catch and 1st down. But no, it's to his ankles and slightly behind. I have this game on DVR and reran it several times to make sure I'm seeing this correctly. Just another of his eratic passes taht results in 3 and out.
Yup, the Braylon pass was bad, the Cumberland pass was overthrown and he was wide open, just awful. He's got no feel for the game anymore.
It is clear that the guy sucks. What I wish that the conversation would become is this franchise's inability to develop a qb. The Jets should be forbidden from drafting a QB for the next two drafts as punishment.
The funny thing is, there will STILL be some Sanchez suck-ups out here who think he can play. It really is beyond belief how bad he is. Even Gannon is saying it in indirect ways. If you think this guy is an NFL QB you're completely lost. Start watching hockey in the winter if it ever comes back. EDIT: After dominating the half, we just lost the lead on that back breaking Spiller play. With 3 minutes left we just lost 2 yards on 1st down on a pitchout to Greene, that EVERYBODY on the defense saw a mile away. If that doesn't tell you everything you need to know about WHY we need a real QB, I don't know what will.
Yea, He looks bad... He had some games in the past that let you believe he was going to be a player. I'll say this. If he was always playing this bad then I would have been on the kik em to the curb bandwagon...but the truth is, he wasn't always playing this bad....before this season. I'm not ready to give up on the kid.... call me crazy.
It's quite possible that no QB in the history of the NFL has played this badly. I mean, anyone else who played like this for an extended period was benched and never heard from again!!!!
First of all if he played this bad, which is horrible, every week then he wouldn't be a QB in the NFL. Secondly I'm not sure that just hoping he plays bad half the time is really what you look for in your starting QB
