I would honestly play Tebow. Season is over anyway and if he plays somewhat decent, could help his trade value. Both of these QBs won't be starting next year anyway here....
Oh man, these things are gold. I saw one last year with Tebow stabbing an actual Dolphin with a spear. *edit here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgGkhd7IUac
LOLOLOLOL More so than the Redskins/Cowboys game on Sunday night football? You know, the one that decides the division and will most likely be winner take all? How about the Packers vs Vikings game. Even the Giants melting down and not making the postseason? Nobody really cares about the soap opera besides Jets fans.
Why? You have a 2nd year guy that knows this is the opportunity of a lifetime. A chance to prove himself to the team and stake a claim as a potential starter coming into a QB battle in camp next season. His 11 sack disaster of a performance already has the organization thinking about drafting a QB, signing a veteran (Henson, Moore, Henne), and bringing back Sanchez to compete with a new OC, QB Coach, and a full compliment of offensive weapons. Can't fault the kid for hiding his headache...this might be the only real shot he ever gets.
Rex is not exactly an authority on judging QB talent. But it's obvious anyway that at this point we have to go with Sanchez. Only because Sparano and Rex screwed with Tebow all season. Also, Tebow is practically off our roster now after what happened last week. Everyone sucks so who cares at this point.
Even with all those stories...lead story on the right side of ESPN in the NFL section -- Sanchez to start. Why? Because it can be spun into a Tebow passed over story and that generates thousands of comments and tens of thousands of clicks.
They were just talking about the Jets and Sanchez ad nauseum on ESPN's The Herd as soon as the news broke that Sanchez would start. Rusillo was filling in for Cowherd. Finally they have Greg Cosell on to analyze the games this week but they start by asking him about the Jets. Cosell says, "Why are we talking about the Jets? They aren't playing after this week. They are now irrelevant." I have to agree. Oddly enough, they went to commercial, came back and started talking about Rex, Sanchez, Tebow and McElroy again. Point being, people other than Jets fans apparently care.
Well, that is certainly surprising. I feel as though the media should have a lot of other things to talk about besides the Jets. Especially with the NFC playoff picture...
11 sacks will do that to you... btw, I have no fuking faith in the NFL anymore. Allowing this kid to get hit in the head like that @ the EOG with no penalty. I'm almost positive this is where the Concussion came from... This favoritism shit has got to stop. The league is looking more and more like the fuking NBA...
The voice of reason. I'll be watching only because I'm a sucker for punishment when it comes to this team but on the real why give a crap about this game and who plays? The prerequisite for the starting QB at this point should be who gives us the best chance to lose the game. Sadly, all 3 QBs can do that.
Glad you feel that way, but the reality is that they go with the most dramatic stories. Hence, my earlier statement.
