Because it all comes from the big man up top. Jesus, I can't believe that you guys still can't tell that Rex didn't want Tebow. If Sanchez would of gotten hurt during a game Tebow would come in, but the next week Rex would say that McElroy would start because he fits the scheme better
Tebot? I think tebow is a god awful qb. Im speaking strictly of Rex's thought process at this time of the year. He gains nothing by starting tebow this late in the season. If he starts him and he sucks, noones surprised but if he starts him and he does well it opens a whole new line of questioning that rex doesn't want to deal with. Everyone knows Sanchez sucks and everyone believes tebow does too. So he's gonna start Sanchez and let the season end as quietly as possible. Rex is letting sleeping dogs lie
Criticism of Rex surely could get much worse. There are rex apologists all over the place. If Mangina had screwed up a situation like this even half as bad, he would have been killed 10 times worse than Rex has been so far.
Everyone already knows Jets will be cutting Tebow. However there might be a way to create competition for TT if he has a decent game.
And LTJF, stop referring to them as tebots, it's quite offensive. The politically correct term is TeBros
Enough enough enough already ! Blow this mess up top to bottom,,what a joke,, it's laughable how these guys conduct business ! Now here's a great question,,,there is no way on gods green earth that Rex pulls Sanchez this week,,,,but if Sanchez gets hurt does he put in Kerley ?
Seriously...all those reporters calling Tebow out for being a phony better call Rex out tenfold. If anyone's been dishonest this year it's him.
OK, maybe it can get worse. I don't see how it'll effect him though. Rex's job is in Woody's hands. Woody (presumably) is the one who insisted on Tebow coming to NY. Hence, if Rex wants to increase his chances of keeping HC job, he should play Tebow if for nothing else then to just win a favor from WJ.
This is just a slap in the face for Tebow. I don't even like him but he should have started. What the heck?
This^^ This organization has turned into the biggest joke in football. They have made the Raiders look legitimate. What a travesty.
Then they should have traded him when the had the chance, not string the guy along with back-up QB bullshit putting our season in worse shape if we did have to go to a back-up at some point if Sanchez went down. Tebow is not a great QB, but keeping him the only guy active all year knowing he sucks is just plain stupid from a HC position. If he was good enough to be the BU all season, then play him when you need a BU or get rid of him early in the season.
Let's Go Buff-a-lo! This is embarrassing. The love affair with Pickchez continues for no good reason. I'm finished with Rex Ryan.
