These next two games are for Jets management. They want to see whether or not they can roll with a player who will actually be on the team next year.
I think it's the bias. I am excited to see a new QB. No doom and gloom from me. It would be doom and gloom if Sanchez was starting. The fan base will be obviously upset, but McElroy is gonna have one nice bomb to Braylon and all the talk will be if McElroy is the QB of the future and how it will only be a year or two before we are SB contenders. It's how NY works and how fanbases work, especially a fan base like ours who shuffled through QBs and still think Clemens and Ratliff were not given fair shots
and, his cap hit is peanuts compared to suckchise ( in keeping with the circus theme...). sorry about the double post. still having anger management issues after last night's disaster.
soprano actually won a division title in Miami with a qb just like McElroy- you may have heard about him. name was pennington.....hmy:
 I could stand back there and hand off the ball all game long and do better than suckchise..... that's like saying cousins could not possibly come in and play as well against the browns as RGIII.
This is not news. If we played at home the last two weeks then Sanchez would have already been benched.
What fallout? He's been passing him over all season. When you leave an absolute mess like Sanchez in a game just to avoid playing Tebow ... what more need be said?
first good move all year tebow is garbage and has no future with the jets mcelroy deserves his chance
Question - If McElroy does just as poorly (missing passes, interceptions, etc) by halftime, where do the NYJ's go from there?
I predict that Mcelroy is going to light it up against the Chargers and throw for 3 td's. Doing this with the same exact personnel that Sanchez couldnt score at all with, highlighting just how bad Sanchez was and what a terrible decision it was to keep shoveling him out there week after week.
We all want that to happen, because we are Jets fans. You want it to happen or different reasons. In the end, who cares.
I predict McElroy will not throw more than 20 times and the Jets will lose a close game. They will lose because they will not be able to score. This loss will belong to Tony Sparano.
This could happen, but in the one Chargers game I watched they kept Manning pretty well in check until Rivers decided he wanted to throw the game away. I guess we'll see.
