I haven't read the entire thread but it's now even more head scratching as to why McElroy wasn't active last night when the season was on the line. #wtfRex
If Rex is starting McElroy over Sanchez and Tebow WTF didn't he have McElroy dressed with the season on the line? he clearly has not faith in Tebow so WTF would he go into an elimination game with a poorly performing Sanchez (last two games) and no backup?
This game would have been the Sunday night game too! http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/sto...chez-new-york-jets-benched-greg-mcelroy-start
It really is. More reason why I'm thinking maybe Rex needs to be shown the door. The season is on the line with a struggling QB. Meanwhile the backup you feel gives you the best chance to replace Sanchez and win, isn't even in uniform. Wow.
Well, we will now run the ball exclusivly. Something we should have done last night as we averaged 5YPC. This is not going to be apples to apples guys, but hey you Sanchez haters (I'm not an appologist) will most likley see a better product (something we did with Mark VS Jags). Either way, its pretty safe to say G-Mac is not going to be the answer. I would rather see TT back there pounding away for 3-4 yards a play...
After last night I think it is quite clear that Sanchez AND Tebow are both number two. They essentially number one'd themselves all over the field last night.
Actually worse 2 weeks ago when Tebow was injured (and was basically inactive, but dressed), and Greg was inactive. If Sanchez got hurt, who would Rex put in?????????
If the Giants don't make the playoffs, the local media will be more focused on the collapse of the Giants than the Jets problems. It will be a good time for Woody to conduct an overhaul A - Z right after the reg season is over. Tanny, gone. Rex, gone ASAP so they can get a jump on the talent pool for GMs/ head coaches.
