Is it me or there is no beat writer that uses more unnamed sources than Manish. If it is true good for him.
Rex isnt leaning towards McElroy his mind is made up and it was made up after the clock struck zero on that game last night!
Rich Cimini @RichCimini McElroy is expected to be the guy, but organization is concerned with potential fallout for passing over Tebow. Never a dull moment. #Jets
I dont think its too misleading, its pretty much a given at this point. Especially with Manish coming out and straight up saying it.
I really don't get what "fallout" would occur. Aside from a small percentage of the fan-base being disappointing in Tebow not starting, starting McElroy over Tebow would have no negative consequences. The Jets organization should stop worrying about the fan-base and start making decisions based on what is best for the team.
Good for Rex starting McElroy. I feel as though if Tebow weren't here, he would have started a LONG time ago. I'll definitely watch the last two games now. I want GMac to get us to 8-8 so Rex can say he hasn't had a losing season.
It's not a hard decision IMO. Gmac should start. Tebow should get some series. You have a whole week to prepare. Both should be ready to play.
McElroy should have stayed in at QB from 2 weeks ago. Too late now. At least we get to see how great it would have been before Rex fucked up and let Sanchez start again.
not really, the major gaffe was not having McElroy active last night. Suckchez should have been benched after the third interception and McElroy should have been given the chance to rescue another game. (Which I believe he would have). Then the jets season would still be alive and there would no questions of who should be the starter on Sunday.
