Oh, now it's down to "95% of the 2012 starting roster was on the 2011 roster" ?? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Hilarious. BTW<, you're wrong about that as well. Name Denver's 11 starters on defense Phaytal. Come on, what's the problem ? It's not that difficult, is it ??
How about you go ahead and define the difference between this years defense and last years defense. Please, show me the ginormous difference between the two. I'll go ahead and enjoy our first round playoff bye, while you sob in to your Corn Flakes. By the way, when is Tebow's next start?
Not even close to sobbing in my Corn Flakes sunshine. All these years of being a UK Football fan has prepared me well for being a fan of the hapless Jets As to the defense, first of all, I'm not the dumbass who claimed that this year's defense was the same as last year's, or the same with only 1 new starter, or "essentially the same defense", or whatever else your latest claim is. It's simple, you said the defense was the same, I've proven beyond any doubt that the defense is not even close to the same. What are we up to now ? Changes in 8 of the starting positions ? yeah, that's "essentially" the same defense. As has been repeatedly said, you are a sad freaking joke.
 Your tears are delicious. You've ignored the same question in every thread you've been a part of, so I'll ask again: When's Tebow's next start? I'm guessing never.
You act like I should be upset about Denver's success this year, or sad/upset that Tebow hasn't started this year. Guess what cupcake, neither one bothers me. Here's the thing that has to get you. Regardless of what happens to Tebow in the future, he will ALWAYS be known as the NFL QB who brought Denver back to being relevant, and the 2011 season will always be an amazing one. That has to suck for you, doesn't it ? BTW, I'll ask yet again: What are the names of the starters for Denver's D this year Phaytal ? Hell, I'll make it easier. Go ahead and name the guys who are starters on the D this year that were also starters during Tebow's 13 starts last year. Again, I'll start the list with Doom, Miller and Champ. Who else Phaytal. Come on, you've repeatedly claimed that the defense was the same. Name the other starters Phaytal. Surely you can do that, can't you ?
Dude who cares? Yes Tebow had a ok season last season. The reason I say ok because they back into the playoffs. Yes the bottom line is they made the playoffs. If it didn't really "bother u" wouldn't keep replying to him.
How should he be able to answer the question when Tebow himself doesn't know the answer? If I had to guess, it would be Week 17 if the Jets are out of the race, or Sanchez throws 3 INTs in a half again.
And yet the 2011 Broncos Defense has been compared to the 2000 Ravens Defense, by Tebow haters. Cool. So I guess that explains why Denver's 2 BEST 3rd down conversion games under Tebow in 2011 resulted in....2 of the WORST Denver Defense performances of the whole year? Those 2 games, by the way, were both against the Patriots, where the Denver Defense gave up a cumulative 86 points. Here's a fun stat for you: Denver's average 3rd down conversion % in 2011 WINS with Tebow - 28% Denver's average 3rd down conversion % in 2011 LOSSES with Tebow - 27% So that 1% difference in 3rd down conversion % average is really what caused those blowouts in 4 out of 5 losses under Tebow last year, rather than the fact that the Denver Defense played like crap on a stick in 4 of those 5 games (2 of which were the best 3rd down conversion rates of Denver's whole season under Tebow)? Really? Really??? That 1% difference in 3rd down conversion % average is why they outscored their opponents 183-140 (57%-43%) in Wins, but were outscored by their opponents 178-56 (76%-24%) in Losses? 1%? Really??? Dude, sell that nonsense somewhere else, no one here is buying.
Your shtick is tired. 'Guess what cupcake. Look at these stats sunshine.' You're like the fat kid that brings the ball to the game, and then no one picks to be on their team. Bitter, hurt, tired. I'll enjoy our first round bye, and home field advantage in the playoffs. You go ahead and enjoy registering for a CFL team's forum in a month.
Well, duh... OF COURSE it hurts the defense when the offense doesn't stay on the field. They'd grind and grind and grind and finally get off the field... what did Tebow do? Punt it back to Tom Brady after about 3 minutes of real time. Explain to me how that DIDN'T hurt? Check out what one of the Patriots coaches said after the game about dominating thanks to an inept offense that couldn't mainain drives. That's gonna kill ya whether you want to admit it or not. You'd have to be dumb as a sack of hammers to not understand how nearly constant three and outs will wear down your defenwse.... ESPECIALLY when playing from behind all day.
Sure, I believe you. ...cupcake... Look at the tone of your posts. The namecalling, the belittling... yeah, you aren't bothered at all by ANY of it. Hey, I got a bridge for sale in Brooklyn.
Most of those were on the team last year and bounced around from first to second string and back. Vickerson has been around awhile. Rahim Moore started last year too but was benched for missing too many assignments. Woodyard has been bounced around from first to second for the last 5 or 6 years on this team. Bannan was on the team a couple years ago, was cut because he kinda sucked. Yeah, so what if some article placed him at #15 free agents. Look at his statistics this year as phaytal showed, he's NOT why the defense looks better. You'd hardly notice him out there. I wouldn't say he was better than Bunkley was last year. So just about all of those guys have been on the team awhile and jockeyed around. So I'm not seeing all these "big" changes you are pointing at that made a big difference. Nowhere near enough to make a difference between #20something and #4. Face it. An offense that stays on the field is helping their numbers a lot. Playing with the lead a lot more allows them to tee off on the QB a lot more. The pressure is on the OTHER offense when that happens, and the become more predictable. This is football 101. I can't for the life of me understand why you guys can't see how the offensive performance can correlate to defense. Then again, not hard to see why crackheads struggle with complex thinking. I guess it shouldn't be hard to see why people stoned out on the fumes from Tebow's jock strap wouldn't understand that concept either.
Clearly you didn't read and comprehend the stats I posted. Denver had their 2 best 3rd down conversion games in 2 of their worst Defensive performances of the year. Sorry bud, but that does not support your point. Have another cup of coffee, you're not quite awake yet this morning.
Sure it does. You can always find exceptions to the rule, but you're going to have a hard time convincing me that you are not going to win more games consistently with improved conversion rate and moving the chains. Let's say We EACH have a team with the SAME EXACT defense. Your philosopy would be that none of that offensive production mattes as much so long as the defense holds up. Can still win with it. Mine is to keep them off the field and stay on the field longer. The thought is to score more points, and let the defense rest more. Neither will be 100% win, but I wonder which philosophy will likely generate more wins. An offense that controls the game more, or the offense that punts the ball all day. Never said you CAN'T win with that kind of production, but each and every game last year seemed like such an uphill climb. Sure doesn't feel that way now. So no, finding that one game where Manning went 3 and out 7 times doesn't make your case when the offense actually had a 10 minute drive on one, and they STILL put up 34 points. Tebow got there twice, I believe. One against the Vikings (might have been his best game) and the Raiders who tried to set a record for number of penalties in that game.
