There were more than a few things that stood out.
    1. Their Olinemen kept engaged to Houston's Dlinemen hence better throwing lane for Brady, like he needs it and neutralized JJ Watts swatting skills
    2. NE receivers get at least 2 yards of separation on majority of completions
    3. Their defense is actually getting better

Let's face it, we are not talented on offense and pedestrian play-calling doesn't help. The main reason we are at this point is because we have a head coach who thinks he can win it all with defense, when the rest of the league is going in the next direction. Yes I blame Tanny for the goop we have on offense but I blame him more for listening to Rex.

We also have a bad QB which makes matters worse

I am amazed at how well NE runs their fast paced offense. I agree their D looks much better than earlier this season.

My main gripe isnt that the Jets are going against the grain. It is that they do not commit to it fully. If you want to ground and pound you have to invest in the oline and running backs. You need a QB that can protect the ball and play smart. The Jets bark about ground and pound and then tie up insane amounts of cap space on holmes and sanchez.

We have one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL. I'd start there when offering any comparison to a team featuring a future Hall of Fame player behind center.

As I was watching the game one thing that kept standing out was how different this team plays as the season moves on. It looks like a different team. The other thing is that everyone has a defined role. They plug players in and out of the system and it works seamless. There is also a very defined sense of team. You would be hard pressed to find a player upset about how many catches or playing time. They breed them to play with a "when you get your shot, produce" attitude.

    its such a different culture.

Listen, they are a great team, and all.......and addmittedly i only watched the first half.....but all breaks go their way at home, which also helps

    1) easy Fumble recovery for Texans, Texans DB inexplicably can't fall on it. NE recovers their own fumble, score 1 play later.
    2) 2 Pas interference calls on 3rd and long to extend drives, one highly questionable.
3)Schaub terrible INT on their first threat in the red zone.

What was 21-0 at half, should have been a very different ball game. Allteams seem to crumble in NE, except, ironically, the Jets. They may not win there all of the time (they should have this year). They generally play tough though, the 45-3 debacle aside.

I want to see how the Pats are about five years from now when Brady finally calls it quits. The problem is that Belicheat will probably call it quits when Brady does. It will finally give people a chance to see how the Patriots are without one of the greatest QBs to ever play.

    Yup.

I doubt we would have gotten any of those phantom PIs. And that forward fumble? Most other teams it would have vbeen called right the fuck back.

Don't be so sure. Think of how Lions/Vikings/Bears fans felt about Brett Favre 5 years before he left. "Yeah, wait until they lose Favre... they will be such a shitty team without a great QB like that!" Given the Jets' unlucky history, I'd wager the bank that the Pats, Fins, or Bills will strike gold on another HoF QB as soon as Brady retires.

What I have learned about the Pats, they have an easy answer for defenses that play the 3-4. They have a more difficult time against teams that play 4-3 with a good pass rush.

Yes poor Jets and ah why would it be called back? Was it within the last two minutes? (A Hint: No)

It takes a complete game to beat NE. We almost played a complete game @NE.... The 9 pts we gave them were devastating.

The Pats beat Houston, fair and square.

Just accept it. I hate them as much as anyone here, but they're a good team.

That being said, if we meet in the playoffs, I think we can beat them. I know, I'm on drugs...puff, puff, pass.

Really? Then why didn't Houston capitalize on their BS PI calls? Ahh that's right. It's only BS if it favors the Pats.

I can't tell if you are a troll or just not that bright.
