Ditto. He's getting 4.7 ypa and we just got gashed by Montell Owens ... whoeverthehell that is.

If we don't force Locker into some INT's I fear we lose a close game ... because you can bet your life that Shit-Chez will be giving them a few short fields, and 17 points may not be enough to win this one.

Their defense is bad and any decent offense should be able to score on them, but ...

I can see a game like the Rams here. Run the football. Control the clock. Limit the mistakes (Sanchez) and play some Defense. Easier said than done.
But I think the Jets win 24 16 with the Titans making a late drive where the D needs to make a stop.

The Jets have to put together a solid game sometime. I think it will be Monday Night in Tennessee. Hopefully Keller and Gates are back to give Sanchez some help.......and dare I say Braylon too?

we will lose because it's a primetime game. we are 2-5 in our last 7 primetime games.

I know it's Tennessee, but we will find a way to lose this game.

No Jared Cook helps. Had picked him up in fantasy in 2 leagues to play this week until his injury.

Locker will throw the ball down the field, but he'll also make mistakes. We need to get some turnovers. I'm pretty confident we'll be able to. Their offensive line is atrocious, so hopefully our defensive line can dominate up front. CJ will probably break at least one run: we seem to have at least one breakdown a game.

Should win the line of scrimmage. Will we have enough offense to win? Who knows.

Tennessee has weapons in the passing game and is willing to make plays with Locker. Like I said, he'll give us some chances to make plays defensively. We have to make them.

Winnable game for sure. Don't give CJ any running lanes.

Probably a win for us on this one, although by no means guaranteed.

Remember Week 1 of the 2006 season in Tennessee? Good times.

Oh really? Good shit, I thought the injury was much worse after that PC. Still Chris Johnson scares the crap out of me even with BT out there. We can't let him get to the 2nd level.

Contain CJ and hope that Rex schemes can confuse Locker. The defense has been playing well as of late. Just hope our run game can continue to be effective. Sanchez has to avoid turning the ball over, no fumbles or INT's. Control time of possession and we can put ourselves in a position to win. Also it would be nice if the Jets can get a opening drive TD.

If the Jets can't contain Johnson it'll be over early.

all of us who have watched the Jets for a long time now know how this game will end. Hate to have that dark sider mentality, but even the best Jet teams in good seasons lose a game like this late inthe season.

a lot of false optimism after the last 2 wins. Again while i'm happy to see they've remained in the playoff picture and we can watch Sunday's games with some interest, Monday night the curtain comes down after another Jet/sanchez stinker on national TV.

set the bar low people so as to not let yourselves down!

I get where you are coming from but a bigger let down would be losing against the Bills in week 17 which could be a "win and you're in" type scenario (but probably not). Therefore it's more likely they get to that point and then choke, thus causing further heartbreak.

yes, that's a possibility as well.......although if every goddam break goes their way and they happened to get to a win and in scenario in week 17, after this crap season i think they'd find a way........they seem to have the Bills number lately. far more likely at least in my opinion it ends this week with a 20-9 loss to a shit Titans squad.

again if I'm wrong, i'll be pleasantly surprised

They could win out and still miss. Which would be equally heartbreaking, especially considering some of the games we definitely should have won (I still think we should have had the Dolphins at home in Week 8 and maybe the Pats at least once).

Honestly though, they are a mediocre team at best so anything above .500 is really more than what they deserve, especially considering they were without Holmes and Revis for that vast majority of the season. If they can get to 9 wins with this terrible offense then if they can even improve the offense to being somewhere between piss poor and average they should make it next year.

Yeah, epic. For some reason I have blocked out most of the Favre season memories from my brain. That was a great game though and the Jets fans knew it was going to happen too.

I just read the Titans's offensive line is missing 4 out of 5 starters. Time for Wilkerson to feast!

The thought of having Braylon for Monday, and he and Sanchez connecting for 100+ yards scares me.
