Looks like some of the members here were right. Sparano seems to have gone after Henne during the offseason to try and get him over here: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...henne-of-jaguars-sparano-recruited-me-to-jets
ABS...Anyone But Sanchez it seems. That's 4 QB's we went after in the off season. Wonder what this off season will bring?
or it could be that Sanchez was the only QB on the roster to have taken a snap in a NFL game........ :breakdance: either way Sparano & Henne both suck
Yeah, pretty much. Sparano has done nothing to improve this offense, and the excuse of "lack of talent" means nothing anymore; it's Week 14. Adjustments need to be made, and they haven't.
Not just what the offseason will bring, but does anyone find it funny how in Rex's eyes, Sanchez is "our franchise guy", yet we have gone after 4 different QB's during this past offseason? Something doesn't add up LOL
and that's just 4 that we know of... 3 of them you could say were competition for Sanchez (back ups), but Manning would have been the starter for sure.
If this is true then Rex and Tanny are even more clueless than I thought. The Miami Dolphin offense was so explosive with Henne and Sparano, why not bring the road show to NY? Is he f888ing kidding me? Everyone is screaming about Sanchez but good lord Sparano needs to go, he should've been fired at the bye.
Are you actually rooting for a Jets loss so the QB gets benched? I mean I don't understand the stream of thought there. If Sanchez sucks and gets benched so be it but no real Jet fan would be rooting for the Jets to lose so that Sanchez gets benched.
We signed a decent backup QB in Drew Stanton. Then all hell broke loose and nothing else that we did at the QB position made sense.
we did then Tebow became available and they thought they had a more verstaile backup who would contribute in many more ways, it didn't work out.
we never amde any attempt to get Peyton Manning, we hired Tony Sparano after the season while we had Peyton's former OC on staff. That alone should ahve told everyone how serious we were about Peyton. Did we make a call? I'm sure we did as good organizations look into everything but nless Peyton was coming here for very cheap(unrealistic) there was never a chance.
Wasn't it obvious? Isn't this old information?? The fact that Sparano lost his job because of Henne and still thinks he's good though is pretty telling as to the type of offensive mind he has - terrible.
I think Henne went to Jacksonville for the Money. Jacksonville is paying him $3 million to be the backup.
