I made the point here that several posters last week were wrong to be so sure that McElroy would suck if he got in there. I think that had value.

Rather than talking about the merits, you chose to make personal attacks on me.

I think I win this one.

Proving people "wrong" who root for the same team as you is your objective? Grats forum warrior.

I have no objections about the merits either way, I am just pointing out your behavior is awful.

And calling another poster here a douchebag is alright in your opinion?

Call me crazy, but making lighthearted fun of posters being so certain a Jet player would flop if he took the field seems like nothing compared to what you did.

But then I don't really respect your opinions in general. Still, you might consider how foolish you have been.

Of course you do not, because you never respect anyone you disagree with and you like or dislike posters based on their opinions rather than their content. That is usually what simple minded folks such as yourself do, and having read some of your reasoning on politics I am not suprised.

    Grow up.

Oh, so this is about you disagreeing with my politics.

Wow. What a faux pas bringing politics over here.

And btw, who appointed you the Message Board Police?

    Go F yourself.

I think that you and I both know that there wasn't much proven on Sunday. I like the fact that the kid didn't completely STB with the big lights on. That's a good start. He did some other good things, include some things Sanchez has never picked up in 4 fucking years.

Sanchez has been awful this year, but to say McElroy has proven himself to be better after less than half a game where he only passed the ball 7 times is a dishonest, and you know it.

I hope I was wrong, but it will take more than 7 passes to prove that. I mean, if it were Tebow who had that performance instead of McElroy I'm sure you'd be singing a different tune.

As for the name calling - everyone needs to stop that.

Yeah, if Tebow was there and went 5/7 for 29 yards and wins a game 7-6. Skip Bayless would say "OMG Tebow is inspiring them to play harder and he should be the starter all year and UNLEASH him!!!!!!!!!"

Ftr I meant by saying until proven otherwise that he was better Sunday, and at this point of the season. That is not merely, as you point to, based on what McElroy did and didn't do. It is also based on an assessment of how bad Sanchez has gotten.

I think Sanchez's confidence is blown. He's always had trouble reading D's. That trouble is compounded now. I am no psychiatrist, but it make sense that if you add any hesitation, any doubt, to the problems he's had all along, it will compound them. I think it's largely a timing thing on reading the D's and knowing what to do, so doubt just makes that processing more difficult, more problematic.

I never said McElroy as of the end of the Cards game is a better lifetime Qb than Sanchez. You perhaps misunderstood what i posted.

But he was in the Cards game, and until proven otherwise, I think is going forward. As I said on another thread, and as you have alluded to, and i agree with, opposing DC's may well come up with easy ways to thwart McElroy. But that's speculation at this point. If it happens, and he is rendered ineffective, well, we will know more than we do now.

Your have a forgetful memory. Sanchez has used it before, I believe in year 3 and it worked until Mulligan and Hunter started jumping and flinching.

But on top of that, the wilson one wasn't using the snap count, it was Wilson being too aggresive. That's why he was was a split second earlier, not jumping offsides and trying to get back on. I mean I get that McElroy came in and didn't look like a disaster, but now you're just throwing on things.

No, its about you being a lame ass forum warrior. I can agreewith someone and still realize theyre a worthless annoyance, the same way I can disagree with someone and still think they are insightful. It is what adults do, troll.

Sorry you disagree with my politics.

Lame ass forum warriors = someone who complains about posts that show others were wrong, on a legitimate football subject, and then adds in a personal attack.

That's you, dude. Suck on it.
