Embarrassed to be a Jets Fan

I've spent $48 on the Jets in the last 12 years.

 

I've pretty much resigned myself to become a Ravens fan. I can't stand rooting for a team owned by someone who doesn't care if they win and a GM who can't scout players for his life.

Ravens are one Ray Lewis retirement away from never being heard from again.

I'd jump on the Redskins or Colts bandwagon if I were you. Bright future there...

 

The Jets are the LA Clippers of the NFL. Second class citizens to a championship franchise in the same market. I am 41 years old and this is all they have ever been my adult life.

 

ugh thats fucking painful. ive never looked at the jets as that but it is probably a green shaded glasses thing as i think the rest of the world views us as just that.

the only thing thats different is they have to be in the lackers division and play them so many times a year. we only get to play the giants once every 4 years.

its terribly similar in comparison though.

i wish it was as easy as just saying fuck it ill be a ravens fan.

 

On the bright side, in 20 years, they will be showing Mark Sanchez tossing Brandon Moore's salad on NFL follies, you can truly say, "I was there".

 

It really sucks that the Jets have become laughingstocks again. No matter what sports recap show I put on from local news to ESPN, all people are doing is mocking the Jets. My non-Jets fan friends are saying they would have turned that blowout game off last night but the Jets were actually providing laugh out loud comedy.

2 years removed from the AFC title game and we are complete jokes again.

I just heard Fireman Ed took his fireman's helmet off during the game, put on a jets cap , turned it backwards , then left the game early and went home and deleted his twitter account

Mark may suck as a QB, but why the need to take something from a sport and move into the realm of personal insults? It is a sport. A game. You don't know the guy. He doesn't know you. Give it a rest.

If you wanted to travel into personal town, you would find that everything else in his life is likely substantially better than yours. He is a millionaire, can graduate with an education from USC, date just about any woman he wants, on and on etc. It is one thing to be frustrated with a player on a team - it is another to take it to the level that you take it to. Also, I doubt that you would say what you type - Mark Sanchez would light you up. Just saying...

So if you feel good saying Mark Sanchez tossed another man's salad from your cpu, toss him the bird - good for you.

Not sure why any of those things would indicate Mark has a better life than any of us.
