Or the fact that Indianapolis only has to go 3-4 to get to 9-7, a record we'd have to go 6-1 to get to (ain't happening)
Campbell Palmer Kerry Collins Alex Smith Fitzpatrick Shaun Hill McNabb Bradford Henne Sanchez Those are the 9 QBs who are ranked higher than Sanchez by QB Rating (who are all similar in skill/output IMO). Out of those 9, there are only 2 who I would even THINK about taking over Mark: Campbell and Palmer. That's it. Sanchez was a middle of the pack QB in 2010. He wasn't great and he wasn't horrible. EDIT - Serviceable is the word I should have used.
I fail to see how being lower in most every category than the players you mention in any way makes mark a middle of the pack QB, when most of those players were bottom tier QB's. Of course you did define "of similar skill output" But that's kind of lowering the bar and saying that a D student is an average student because he was in the middle ranking of the other D students.
Typical Jets win... Restore a tiny bit of confidence in the organization and fan base, meanwhile theyll just crush it next week. Push themselves back into a mediocre draft spot, still missing the playoffs, and have zero turnover in a front office that deserves it. Oh well.
If they beat the patriots their right back in the mix of things. They have a closing schedule for the final 5 games after Thursday which could allow them to go on a little run. Doesn't guarantee they'll win them but if they beat the patriots then their very much still in the mix
Very, very solid win. Exactly the type of no-nonsense game we should be playing against the teams with losing records. Another 6 performances like that and we are in with a very slim chance of the post-season. However, this is the Jets and we'll probably bring the circus to Week 12.
do you mean all use of tebow is moronic and today they used less of it or the times they used tebow were less moronic then when they usually use him? either way i agree
It was great seeing the Jets win. The win also leaves us with some hopes for the season. But hope I think has to involve beating the Pats. A win against NE means the Jets could still have a winning record in the division. Which could be a tie breaker. But much more than that, seven losses with five games to play leaves no margin for error, and this team simply does not play error free football. Even yeterday they looked like crap until Smith's int. But a win against NE, and hope can return.
Definitely a big win. I still think we need to beat the Pats to have a shot though. Well, we have to beat almost everyone to have a shot at this point.
