More important they're healthy in the spring. With this team I don't think you'll see more than 20 games with Tyson, Amare, Thomas, Wallace & Camby all healthy.
they just announced that knicks/nets will happen as scheduled Thursday night. It was expected to be postponed.
wow, that's interesting. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/01/s...-against-knicks-in-brooklyn-is-postponed.html The Knicks-Nets game scheduled for Thursday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn was postponed on Wednesday because of Hurricane Sandy’s devastation of the mass transit system. The announcement came a day after the N.B.A. said the game would be played. General Manager Glen Grunwald of the Knicks and his Nets counterpart, Billy King, confirmed the postponement. At a news conference on Wednesday afternoon, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg said the N.B.A. postponed the game at his recommendation. The Nets’ home and season opener will now be Saturday night against the Toronto Raptors.
Good for the owners if they pushed this. I'm reading it's still tough to travel in NY let alone make sure your friends and family are okay and set to head to a basketball game. Knicks play the following night
Hope to god the fix WAS NOT IN and this was a real game. And may god or whoever lol helps us stay healthy I mean a hurricane just hit NY city
Also Let me say That old spaniard or south american looked GREAT tonight the man is prolific in passing as well as our 2 other point gaurds
I didn't watch the game but on some fan sites, people are claiming Heat didn't really play so that Knicks could get a win. They claim this was a gift. Is any of this true?
Probably going too far if the claim is that the Heat threw the game on purpose, but it wouldn't be too crazy to assume Miami let up a little on a hometown discount type of thing. Wade did donate his gamecheck to NY and said that the game should have never been played.
No the Knicks made 50% of their 3 pointers and the Heat had trouble driving. I mean if they were throwing the game, Lebron, Wade, Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis, Spoelstra, and Norris Cole were not told about it. Nobody wants to acknowledge the fact the Knicks played well because it's fun as an opposing fan if the Knicks are good. And the Knicks passed the ball very very well! It was always moving, Melo was catching and shooting like in London. We got bogged down in some Iso-Melo in the 2nd quarter, but were able to sneak into halftime with a double digit lead. Melo's defense looked improved. He locked down Wade the one time he got stuck on him and handled Lebron as good as you can. Felton loves the big lights. He goes at breakneck speed all the time. Kidd's spot up shooting really impressed me. Hopefully he can continue it. Steve Novak's shooting motion might have gotten half a second quicker too. All in all, well played and what the Knicks are going to have to do to win games.
if this was true, how would anyone know it except the Heat themselves? why would any fans know, either the Heat fans making the claim or Knicks fans disputing it? just think about it for a moment.
