But he's totally changed the culture of the franchise and made the Jets relevant.

That would appear to be rapidly deteriorating. The bye week couldn't have come at a better time.

The biggest positive is definitely, that I don't have to watch this fucking team for 2 weeks, just emotionally free football entertainment until the Seahawks game.

I normally like reading your posts. But looking at your offerings in the wake of this Dolphin penis-cum & shit combo sandwich shoved down the Jet's throats--again and again no less--and choosing to brush off this disaster, I am convinced this 'perpetual sunshine' from you and your ilk will do nothing more than keep "Mike the GM" in good steed.

    Joke owner.
    Joke GM.
    Joke franchise.
Joke 'enabling' fanbase (late to arrive-early to leave).
    Joke GM.

...and yep, I'm now putting Rex (as a HC) in that mix.

Oh and sanchez?....he and Gates piling up NOTHING STATS during garbage time? So what? really...

Well, at least we've got great cornerbacks, who needs a pass rush?...we'll cover the WR's alllll overrr the fielddd..even if it is 7 seconds after the snap!!...yeah, remember that mindset from the AMC-TV clique who (upon the acquisition of Cromartie) were convinced that CB's alone would turn the Jet's *cough* "D" into the '85 Bear's "D"??????? ..... and if someone wants to challange that "expiration date" Chicago Bear reference, it was Mark fuckin' Sanchez who made reference to that SAME MOTHERFUCKING VINTAGE-YEAR DEFENSE!!!!

I was in Sanchez' corner admist the detractors....up until 1 hour ago. I'll take Richard Todd (who padded up his stats during a dink-and-dunk loss to the Bill Walsh 49'ers at Shea) over this metrosexual prima donna, un-namath, southern california POS cunt.

...and yes I'm buzzed, and yes, I'm being emotional...but still......when richie igcognito starts pushing/shoving/chirping like he's Anthony Munoz' daddy.....really.....this team is truly soft. We first saw it in Pittsburgh (with them missing Harrison and Troy), San Francisco (where they were saying the Jets quit).....it is what it is.....the Jets are not the 70's Raiders, as much as they tried to cultivate that "take a swipe at one of ours, we take a swipe at TWO of yours..." -- ain't there Gents.....the Jets ain't that bad-ass, beat the shit-out-of-you team they'd like you to think they are.....for starters, they DON'T have the horses...<--GM Tannenbaum.

thing is we really could give 2 shits less about the dolphins or their fans...its only a rival if both parties care.

about time someone shuts them up? are you living in la la land? the jets haven't been loud this year and are hardly a force..nobody is saying otherwise...come back to earth buddy boy.

It sucks that after Rex gets fired, some team is going to land themselves one hell of a Defensive Coordinator.

If only we could convince Rex to take a demotion. This Head Coach shit might not be for him.

Don't sit here and try to act like Jets fans don't care about the Dolphins. This is a rivalry.

Positives? I got nothing. And this is what I picture Rex doing when he gets to his office after the game.

Shonn Greene didn't rack up another 23 yards in garbage time to completely ruin my fantasy matchup.

With Sporano calling plays in the 4th quarter it was a definite possibility.

Have you read my other posts? My plan is for Tanny to be gone from a talent evaluation role and into a numbers guy or gone. I want Sanchez to be gone in 1.5 years. Switching owners in unrealistic. I want Rex to stay.

And Gates made some good catches outside of garbage time? Remember the kid is a flyer we picked off a practice squad.

The only positive is that the game is over.
