Two separate paragraphs means two separate thoughts. It's debatable whether his real value is backup QB. In the event Sanchez goes down, I don't completely believe Ryan will but him in. It seems like he was brought in for wildcat packages, which he hasn't executed well, and punt protecting, which he's done well enough there's no need to nit pick nor get overly excited. I don't see any other team asking their backup QB to bulk up in the offseason.
In four sentences you said: "It's debatable whether..." "I don't completely believe..." "It seems like..." You're just making things up. He is the QB2 whether you think so or not. 100% unquestionably, Tebow would replace Sanchez if he gets injured. It's not even a debatable subject. It's not even that I'm saying Tebow is the second coming of Steve Young... just for purely political reasons alone, Rex has no choice. If Sanchez goes down and any QB other than Tebow starts... HOLY SHIT... the media will transform into a laser beam and focus on Rex Ryan and the Jets. Then he will get fired.
Of course an anti Tebow automaton such as yourself will simply say anyone can do it if Tebow accomplishes it. It was luck It was unicorns Green could have done it A leprechaun could have done it Grimes could have done it A leprechaun on a unicorn could have done it just cut and paste from the above on a future response to any Tebow accomplishment. Don't ever say I never did anything for you. and remember......
I am almost to the point (not exactly there yet but almost..) to where I am just going to shrug my shoulders and respond GO UNICORNS! No amount of logic or reasoned level headed response can get to any T-Hater cultist. I might as well just reply UNICORN! and it will have the same affect.
You're right, no other team has successfully performed a fake punt for three yards. I mean, certainly not any team last week and certainly not any other team in our division, like Miami. It must be Tebow.
There you go, that's the spirit! The sentence you have typed can be readily adapted to anything that happens -- touchdowns, first downs, whatever. Here, I'll go ahead an make the form up for you: You're right, no other team has successfully ____________. I mean, certainly not any team last week and certainly not any other team in our division, like _______. It must be Tebow.
So he's going to grow his hair out into a fluffy afro, get busted with pot and then be off the team next season?
Yes, he is worth it because he is the backup qb. You've gotta have a backup anyway? TT happens to help out in other ways. So I'm not really understanding your comment.
How many fake punts did Jets convert last year ? Could it be westhoff has more confidence with Tebow there ? Does that count for anything ? No it could not be that !
With McElroy usually inactive during games, who else are they going to put in at QB if Sanchez goes down with injury?
They nurse the belief that McElroy is the real, double secret backup, and that he will finish out the season if Sanchez goes down. It's because it's not enough for Tebow to be a backup caliber QB in their minds. He needs to be an utterly inept NFL QB for them to feel vindicated. If Tebow is better than McElroy, it starts their whole mental gymnastics computer going and blue smoke starts coming out of their ears.
Well, there you go. He was just in at RB. Just happened to be a direct snap, as everyone suspected. At least they couldn't stop him.
